Hôtel Crillon le Brave

We stayed here for 4 nights, it’s a beautiful property and we loved our room. The staff was friendly and our dinner at Madeline was great. The rest of the food was not great. We had planned a picnic and we didn’t eat it as it wasn’t good at all. The breakfast brunch was also fair, the selection can definitely be improved. All in all, we would say this hotel is more of a 4 star property rather than a 5.

Lieu d exception et tout le charme de la Provence.Belle chambre spacieuse petit plus de la vue sur le Mont Ventoux. Spa cosy et massages de qualité.Personnels aux petits soins.En revanche une pointe de déception sur la qualité de la brasserie qui n est pas à la hauteur de son prix.

I checked into this hotel on 10/20 for a milestone birthday trip, and we paid 3 nights for a suite with a big terrace (which the photos showed), which was a deal breaker for us. Upon check in, we were notified that we were “upgraded” to a room without a terrace, and with a pretty bad look. The room was extremely dated and not what we asked for. It felt like a major downgrade. They said that if we don’t specifically tell them that we want a room with a terrace (even though all the photos of this room are with a terrace) they would not guarantee one. Then why have it in all your photos? And why make NO disclaimer on the website? They tried to “upgrade” us again to another room, and our two options were either a room with a small balcony but with a strange vibe, or a smaller room with windows that don’t open at all. We decided to cut our stay short to just 1 night, without any discount for the night we stayed in at a worse room. This entire experience was very stressful for us after days of travelling and being exhausted. So just a reminder for everyone that if they try to “upgrade” you, don’t believe them at face value and reminder not to say yes unless you have all the right information.

5 stars all around. My husband and I spent a portion of our honeymoon trip here and it was PHENOMENAL - best part of our trip by far! Every experience from our suite, restaurants, concierge, spa was top notch - all of the staff went above and beyond with their attention to detail. A truly incredible, magical place! Très belle expérience. Un cadre magnifique avec un personnel à la fois efficace, aidant et discret et toujours aimable. Il faut parfois patienter mais cela fait partie de l’expérience de détente à laquelle ce cadre appèle. Superbe expérience au SPA également. Merci

Le lieu est incroyable et cela est indéniable.Malheureusement le service n’est pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 5 étoiles, et c’est bien dommage.Nous avions réservé une suite par e-mail en octobre 2022, en mentionnant bien qu’il s’agissait de notre nuit de noce.Aucune attention particulière que ce soit dans la chambre ou bien au restaurant , malgré qu’on m’ait demandé si j’avais des requêtes spécifiques.Le téléphone dans la chambre ne marchait pas, mon mari s’est retrouvé dans le local technique pour récupérer des piles.À peine arrivée au restaurant la Table du Ventoux, le monsieur à l’accueil n’est pas très agréable, écorche mon nom de famille. Nous avons eu 3 serveuses différentes.Le service 5 étoiles s’est enfin fait ressentir lors de notre après midi piscine. Le serveur était aux petits soins, très agréable. Nous avons fini sur une note positive avec le service voiturier également.Globalement très déçue du service qui se prétends 5 étoiles, c’est très dommage car le lieu est incroyable.

This place is magical! We stayed 2 nights, but could have easily extended our stay. The services is impeccable and wonderfully personalized. The hotel has no shortage of beautiful views and wonderful experiences. We enjoyed a rural picnic with delicious packed food, massage at the spa, and the pool for hours on end.Highlights: the rooms were amazing, and fully stocked with luxury products (I could not believe we had full size Diptyque products in the bathroom), and had ample air conditioning which wasn’t a constant as we traveled Europe / sunsets and views were beautiful and we watched them for hours / food was delicious / great pool bar where we had the best iced americanos and Hugo spritz’! / service - the team is incredibly attentive, and across all the wonderful hotels we got to stay in, this was the best.To consider: you’re fairly isolated (which is part of the benefit of staying there), so will need to arrange transportation for day trips. The hotel has everything you need, so leaving isn’t necessary if you don’t want to.

Overall, this was a slightly disappointing stay, at least for our standards. First the good, Yes the hotel is beautiful and has amazing views of Provence. The rooms were spacious and the staff was friendly. The overall experience and level of service, however, was not commensurate with a 5 star resort, and certainly not commensurate with the prices demanded. We have been fortunate to stay in some of the finest hotels around the globe, and crillon did not match up. For instance, we sat at the pool for three hours before a waiter came out from the bar to take orders, and he was scarce after that. I saw a puddle in the pool bathroom toilet there when I got there in the morning and no one cleaned it all day. When showing up to the restaurant for breakfast, no one greets you or shows you to a table. And at dinner they are not attentive to pouring your wine. (The food at the non-tasting menu restaurant was just okay). After we left crillon, we arrived at a truly 5 star resort where all the staff new our name and waited on us hand and foot. I would not return unless the nightly rate was 500 euro or less, which is what it should be for what they provide.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits inoubliables à Crillon le Brave et avons adoré chaque minute. L'hôtel perché sur la colline avec des vues à couper le souffle sur la campagne, les vignes, les oliviers et le Mont Ventoux. Des petits chemins à emprunter pour se promener dans l'hôtel renforcent le sentiment d'intimité et le charme du lieu. Le restaurant brasserie impeccable au petit déjeuner et presque parfait au diner (faudrait juste prévoir plus de choix gastronomiques pour les enfants, pour leur faire goûter la cuisine provençale...). La piscine extraordinaire en pierre avec cette vue délicieuse dont on ne se lasse pas. Tout le personnel est attentif et partage les bons conseils - un restaurant dans un village voisin, des guides de canoë-kayak pour descendre la Sorgue, où trouver le prochain manga dans la série de notre fils. Nous avons prolongé notre séjour d'une nuit (désolé le vieux port de Marseille), et nous voulons tout simplement revenir le plus vite possible.

La Table du Ventoux très belle adresse bisyronomique oû se restaurer avec une vue époustouflante sur le Ventoux.NB: Formule du midi sous forme de brunch.Revenir pour profiter de ce paradis hôtelier.

SENSATIONAL!!! This is heaven on earth. I read a review below that complained about service and I believe it to be completely false. This is the best service we have received in France. Everything was perfect, the staff were all attentive, charming and kind. I felt incredibly comfortable here and wish I could stay for longer. Thank you for memories to last a lifetime!
