We were seeking a very personal, quasi luxury experience to sample the Canal du Midi with our American guests, and that's exactly what was delivered by Kate & Ferdi. Fabulous food, knowledgeable hosts, sparkling clean cruise boat. We enjoyed the experience so much, that we booked a similar cruise with them when we had British guests a month later. Again, fantastic home made food, more laughter and story telling from Kate & Ferdi, and a very welcoming experience. The food portions on both trips were generous, the wine and water flowed freely, and our hosts were thoughtfully attentive without being invasive - authentic and lovely people who are warm and welcoming, and on both instances they were sweet to accommodate our springer spaniel on board. This trip is now on our list of must do" things whenever we want to show off Languedoc hospitality to our visiting friends and family. Consider this a rave recommendation!"
