We stumbled upon this Chateau on a day outing and we had a lovely tour with the amazing Beatrice. She was super friendly and took the time to answer questions and also engaged with our children. All in all a great experience and can highly recommend.

Très beau domaine et vraiment bonne visite.Par contre quelle mauvaise surprise de s’apercevoir d’une telle différence de prix, sur un Millésime, entre un grand distributeur et le domaine en direct (+10€ sur des bouteilles achetées à 24€).Vraiment scandaleux

Visite et explications très bien.Dégustation très agréable.Mais surtout n'achetez pas, comme moi, le millésime 2018 vendu au prix de 23.90 € le 19/09. A compter du 30/09, LECLERC propose ce même millésime à 14.90 € lors de sa foire aux vins !!!Quel intérêt d'acheter à la propriété ?

Didn’t get a chance to take I photos I fortunately. This place was amazing. We were complete novices but she explained the whole process from farming to fermentation to colour extraction and bottling.. we left feeling like connoisseurs. The host Beatrice was so nice and the red wines we tasted had such a melody of flavors…6 hours away from the kids and left with a dozen bottles which we’ll keep for special occasions. Overall a brilliant experience.

What a fantastic experience! We visited with 3 adults and 4 teenage family members in mid-August and were made to feel very welcome. The tour included a brief history of the chateau and the Barton family estates before moving on to see the stainless steel fermentation vats and barrels. We received a clear explanation of the picking, fermentation, barrelling and bottling process, as well as the impact the weather can play. We finished in the tasting room and were fortunate to try (and then buy) some of the end product - delicious. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Popped in for a tour as kids were keen to discover the secrets of wine making. Turned out to be fantastic learning experience for the entire family: from Napoleon III ordered gradation of wine from Medoc suppliers in 1855 to egg-white based refinement of red wine and loads of other very useful information. The Chateau has rich history and we wish we could have spent more time here... Beatrice - in charge of guests and the tour - was very welcoming. Thank you.

Un immense merci à Béatrice Dalamel de Bournet qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis avec les magnifiques paons du domaine Mauvesin Barton. Une visite guidée professionnelle, très bien orchestrée et très intéressante sur le terroir, les vins, l'histoire du domaine et de la famille Barton. Un moment plus que convivial avec mes amis (nous étions huit) avec les dégustations dans cette belle bâtisse et vue sur les chais: tous nos sens en émois et de bons souvenirs qui reviendrons en dégustant à nouveau les vins que nous avons achetés. Je vous recommande vivement cette expérience avec Béatrice au domaine Mauvesin Barton.

We had a great tour of Chateau Mauvesin Barton. Alexandria was so informative, with attention to detail from the grape to the bottle. She is also English speaking, that was magic.Their reds are amazing, we came away with big smiles. Highly recommended ✅
