La Poule au Pot
Un des restaurants du chef Jean-François Piège ne nous a pas déçu. L’ambiance est chaleureux, le service aussi, le cadre a une nostalgie parisienne. Nous avons pris le menu La Poule au Pot avec la vraie poule au pot! La cuisson de poulet très bien maîtrisée, la viande est tendre et savoureuse, le consommé avec la quenelle de volaille (mélangé de foie, abats et foie gras) est exquis. La crème brûlée pour 2 personnes sont énorme, préparé avec de vanille, goût plaisant et intense, un vrai quoi !

This place lacks service and its unfortunate because it takes away from some of their excellent food. To start off, the wine takes 15 to 20 minutes to come out. When it finally arrived, the waiter did not properly show us the bottle we ordered or pour for a small taste. Just grabbed it by the label and started pouring, very unprofessional! Our waiter dropped the plates infront of me instead of gently placing it. Did not give us the most basic attention. This terrible service came from one goofy waiter that ruins the service for the whole business.Some of the food we ordered was excellent. I recommend the frog legs, their special of the day, and crème brûlée.Atmosphere is pretty decent but do not eat here if you are uncomfortable sitting close together. The tables are very close to each other therefore the waiters pull out the whole table for you for the inner side seats.

La dernière fois nous avons été charmés par ce restaurant, délicieux mets et belle ambiance .Cette fois ci service déplorable, c’est devenu un attrape touristes . Frites froides, on a du demander le pain, plats moyens .Bref très déçus et nous n’y reviendrons pas .Dommage …

Here we go …..1) Tiny place, likely 30 seats (you eat on your neighbors knees) and 3 staffs2) Very popular place as no booking no seating but 95% are tourist (as nearby Le Louvre)3) First impression so so especially had to wait +10mns placing our orders …4) Food wise is okay. Price is high but tasty food with familial portion. The “Os a moelle” was very good, the “pate en croute” dry, the blanquette was very good but slightly salty and my Hachis Parmentier tasty. However the desert were not what we expected. The “crème brûlée” was too sweet (too much caramel and not warm) and the profiterole was okay but the choux was standard and the chocolate not warm.5) Bottom line, I believe this place lives on the name of JF Piège but I can foresee people walking out and thinking the quality / service does not value the price tag (207€ for 2pax).Last but not least 2, 19€ for a Côtes du Rhône glass is a bit too much :-)Typical place were you go with expectations as JFP behind but falling short the promises.

Utterly disappointing. Had very high expectations for this place, and saved it for our last lunch in Paris. Unfortunately, this was my first “unpleasant” experience in the city (everyone else we met was lovely) in the form of one waiter who was rude, dismissive and deliberately ignored my table. I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt, but saw how other (French) customers got served their mains first when we couldn’t even get butter for our starter bread. In other places, this might not be a major issue, but getting dry bread without butter or any condiments in a supposedly upscale restaurant in Paris? Unbelievable.We also got cramped into the corner near the doors, where all the tourists seemed to be, while the dining area in the back was far more spacious and of course, only had French customers. It wasn’t until my cousin who speaks French, talked to another waiter about our displeasure before we got slightly better service, but honestly the experience was ruined by then. Food wise, onion soup was delicious and the only reason why I didn’t give this restaurant a one star. Everything else was pretty mediocre, plenty of better food elsewhere in Paris.

Nous sommes venus diner hier soir avec ma compagne et un couple d’amis.Nous avons été séduit par la qualité des plats et des vins.En outre, le service assuré par M.Pallanca était mémorable.Merci à l’équipe pour cet instant de convivialité et de régalade.

Nous sommes des clients réguliers de la Poule au pot, et avons été assez déçus, voire même surpris par la qualité du service du restaurant.Pour tout à fait honnête, le maitre de rang semblait très lourdement sous influence, agité, empêchait les serveurs de faire leur travail sereinement et offrait un spectacle très inquiétant pour la clientèle.Les plats étaient comme à leur habitude bons, très bons même.

Having been to over 50 Michelin star restaurants, globally, this one was in the bottom 3. There was very little wrong with the food however it just didn’t feel different enough to have a star. Service was good and the restaurant was nice (although the tables were too close together) Very expensive for what it was, especially the drinks. Choose other restaurants in Paris over this one for quality and value for money. Doesn’t get my Michelin star

la tradition de la cuisine française dans votre assiette. A la carte on trouve les traditionnels escargots, les oeufs mimosas, la blanquette de veau, les ris de veau... tout est bons, le service est de bonne qualité et le cadre dans son jus mais agréable. côté addition, les prix sont élevés mais c'est le prix à payer pour une cuisine signé Jean-François Piège.

I honestly wasn’t expecting it from a restaurant this popular, but WOW! The food was incredible, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend the Foie Gras, it was one of the best we’ve ever had as well as the Cote de Boeuf with the amazing Bercy sauce. I wish I could take that sauce everywhere. Finished off with a delicious crème brûlée. The service was lovely, attentive and impeccable and our experience was made so much better thanks to Yuri who was an absolute star. Merci, will definitely be back!

Incredibly overpriced. Essentially, for every $5 you're paying $2 for the food and $3 to the bloggers.The food is OK, but no where near the Cost you pay. You likely are reading this bc some blog, vlog or ig post somewhere recommended it... they're paying for the marketing.Like I said, the bread is some of the best I've had and the food was ok, but we paid $230 for some soup, foi gras, 2 glasses of cheap wine, small steak and tartar...The service was ok as long as you get someone that speaks French or English.I suspect the original owners sold the joint and the new ones are paying for the hype via social media. You'll notice almost no locals... all foreigners.. there's a reason for that...
