Normandy History Tours

Jonathan Dale guided us to some of the D-Day destinations during a day we had in Normandie. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. We really enjoyed the time with him and learned far more than we had expected. Jonathan is great about informing on what your specific interests are but sharing his knowledge across many historical topics. We were very pleased with this tour!

Jonathan Dale was an excellent guide, knowledgeable about the history and area and very flexible to adapt the tour to our specific interests and needs. He is very pleasant and professional, and we spent five days with him in Normandy, At the end of the tour, we loved Normandy as much as he does, and we hope to return soon.

Excellent Tour guide!!

Jonathan Dale was an outstanding guide of the D-Day beaches and associated, neighbouring historical monuments. He was extremely knowledgable, a very fluent English speaker and flexible on how we arranged our itinerary. He backed up his words with appropriate historical imagery.Our group of half a dozen gained a great deal from the outing and strongly recommend him.

My wife Lynn and I had the most memorable experience of our entire 10-day trip to France with Jonathan of Normandy History Tours. We were based in Paris and took the train up to Bayeux where we stayed overnight. Jonathan was kind enough to pick us up at the train station for his 1/2 Day WW2 American Sector tour and drop us off at our hotel in Bayeux after the tour. He is extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of WW2 and the Normandy invasion. We researched many tour companies before choosing Normandy History Tours and are convinced we found the best. Highly recommend.
