Go careful when hiring from this company. Our flight was delayed by an hour, so we didn't pick the car up until 7.15pm in the evening which we didn't think unreasonable and certainly not after hours!! However 4 days after we returned from holiday we had an extra 50 euros taken from our account without out our or authorisation or knowledge. We were not made aware of this extra charge when we collected the car . It's not really the 50 euros it's the sneeky way they take it from you that I really object to.

Avoid Europcar Bergerac!I’m never using Europcar again after the horrendous experience we had with this branch. They are money grabbing scammers hiding behind made up policy. Avoid avoid avoid!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTSThey gave us 3 baby seats before we got one that fitted. Then the car we were given had a fault. This took over an hour in. 30 degree heat with a baby. They then gave us a smaller and worse car and said nothing we can do. Not even an apology. So so so so bad.Then on they way back they stole our deposit, called us liars and were so rude. If your customers mattered to you then you would not act like this

The car was fine, service fine. The extra insurance sales pitch when you get the keys is something to beware of. What was disappointing was that it took them 6 days and several calls to get them to remove the 315 Euro charge on my card. Apparently they had been too busy but it left me short after my holiday.

Friendly staff, car hire directly outside terminal. Watch out for the added extras that are offered at the desk as the online price you paid can go up considerably

I rented a family car for two weeks from Europcar Bergerac Airport from the 19th July to the 2nd August.Having checked my credit card on the 10th August I noticed a 40 euros charge to my credit card with no explanation, email or invoice from the company which is the usual procedure.Wondering what the charge was I swiftly contacted the office and I was advised that the charge was a cleaning charge as the car had crumbs on the rear seats and two small white blobs of what they state was suncream. I have received the pictures of the apparent mess in the car and to my disbelief there are pictures of small crumbs on the rear seats and general minor debris in the drivers floor footwell (which had no mats). How I am meant to prevent this is beyond me? There are other pictures of dust and crumbs in the central console which is quite unbelievable. I have never seen such an over exaggeration. I am happy to post the pictures if necessary.The company claim there is a notice in the vehicle stating that if vehicles are brought back dirty there will be a charge - this was not the case.I am genuinely shocked that I have been charged nearly £40 to vacuum the hire car out. This should be a standard requirement of any reputable hire car company prior to renting the vehicle to anyone else but it seems this is a way to extort money out of unsuspecting customers who may not check their credit card statements.I have hired many vehicles all over Europe for our family of four and have never ever had this problem, so clearly I would not advise anyone to use this company due to their clear integrity issues.My advice would be that if you do happen to be unlucky enough to hire a car from this company at this location to vacuum and polish the car before you return it, otherwise those crumbs will cost you £40.I'm surprised I didn't get charged an extra 50 euros for the dead flies on the front bumper whilst they were at it.Do yourself a favour and use Buggs hire car instead.

pour ne pas mettre 0 étoiles.Europcar est mandaté par Mondial Assistance pour remettre un véhicule de prêt pour durée de 8 jours.A notre arrivée, l'agent voyant une personne de couleur noire , lui refuse le prêt, en prétextant qu'aucun véhicule n'est disponible.Alors que Mondial Assistance a bien confirmé la réservation.Nous regardons sur le site, pour voir si nous pouvons louer un véhicule, et là, GRAND ÉTONNEMENT, plusieurs véhicules disponibles.Bravo pour l' abus de pouvoir, la discrimination raciale et le non respect des consignes de votre mandataire.Bien évidemment, cette affaire aura une continuité juridique

Filme de terror. Não aconselho este rent-a-car a ninguém. Correu tudo bem durante o aluguer do carro não houve qualquer problema. Passados 8 dias recebi um telefonema a dizer que tínhamos estragado o carro e este estava na oficina. Que tinham a certeza que tínhamos colocado adblue no tanque do gasóleo. Perguntaram várias vezes se tínhamos o ticket do combustível. obviamente não nos lembramos de trazer o tiket connosco. Depois de vários emails trocados, enviaram-nos uma previsão para o arranjo do carro que seria de 6325,57 euros ( só a previsão). Como tínhamos a certeza de ter colocado gasóleo, verificamos registos bancários, horas, trajeto no google maps etc.., e com a ajuda de pessoas do hotel onde ficamos e de amigos que falam fluentemente Francês conseguimos um duplicado do recibo de combustível, enviei o duplicado e responderam-me assim Hopefully the expert report will determine exactly what happened." ou seja

Very fast efficient check in. But our car was FILTHY!!!! I’ve never rented a car and been given a completely dirty car…and it costs 744€ for 6 days…
