Hôtel Phileas Lazare and Spa

Tres bonne expérience dans cet hôtel. Accueil chaleureux, chambre très propre, et excellent petit-déjeuner. L’hôtel offre des collations et boissons chaudes dans l’après-midi.Je recommande fortement !

Nous avons réservé le spa et malheureusement rien ne fonctionnait normalement ( hammam bouillant, pourtant nous avons l’habitude, douche brûlante et impossible de la régler, et le jacuzzi rempli a ras bord ) et cela a fini en inondation. Nous avons donc dû aller chercher la réceptionniste qui est venu vider le jaccuzzi au bon niveau et a dû éponger le sol au mieux en y laissant les serviettes … autant vous dire que niveau détente, c’était plus que moyen !Suite à ce désordre, le peignoir où j’avais mis ma bague était trempé, j’ai donc pris un autre peignoir pour remonter en chambre et je l’ai donc laissé dans le spa par mégarde …Le lendemain je préviens la réception, et j’insiste sur la valeur de la bague et le côté sentimental de ce bijou. On me confirme que rien n’a été trouvé mais que le linge sale va être contrôlé et que l’on me rappelle en fin de journée.Personne ne rappelle. Je joins l’hôtel et tombe sur le réceptionniste du soir, qui semble à peine au courant et qui lâche un « ah oui, ben non on l’a pas retrouvé. » aucune démarche n’a été fait auprès de Elis, la société de linge …. Aucun protocole n’est mis en place.Pas du tout au niveau d’un 4 étoiles.C’est triste de ne pas avoir de service client compétent …

The staff is amazing! They were very helpful and were able to communicate with us in English. They assisted us with understanding how to use the train station to get to the various areas of the city. The hotel is lobby is beautiful and looks just as it appears in the photos online. Our rooms were a decent size, one of which accommodated a third person on a single bed. The location of the hotel is directly across from a train station. My only complaint is that we had to request face towels because only larger towels were provided in our room.

Stay here if you want to deal with bugs and vermin!This place is definitely not a 4 star hotel as they claim. Seemed relatively nice in photos, but it is actually quite dirty in person.After a nice day out on the town, we were shocked to discover HUNDREDS of FLIES in our hotel room late in the evening. Mind you, we did not have any food in the room or open the windows.Immediately I went downstairs to troubleshoot with front desk, and he seemingly did not believe me. Even worse, he ACCUSED me that I brought the flies into the room. He never apologized for the issue or offered to resolve the situation with an upgrade, even after he saw the infestation. I wish I were making this up, but he handed me a can of insect spray to bring to the room (LOL). It was an extremely puzzling interaction, maybe he thought it was only a couple of bugs. He then told me the hotel was fully booked and it was hard to put me up in another room.Fast froward -- he came with me to the room and after seeing how bad the situation was, that night, we were given a smaller room on the 1st floor in response. That room still had evidence of a couple smushed flies on the ceiling, and had this shoddy bathroom sliding door that didn't even close properly.Between the horrible customer service and the bug infestation (when Paris has a city-wide bedbug outbreak), we decided not to chance it and booked another hotel.We asked for a refund for the remainder of our stay -- 3 full additional nights. Initially they declined my refund, but after significant protest only offered to refund me 2 out of 3 nights! We gave them ample time that we were checking out early -- discussing with front desk well before 10AM checkout time. But they refused to refund me for the one night even though I did not end up staying and there was a clear issue with the hotel.I wanted to speak to be manager, however they refused to talk to me and left the front desk person out to dry. They only directed them on the phone, and even would not talk to me over the phone despite my offering. Unbelievable customer service right there!All in all, this place is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I don't know how it received that designation. Not sure how they justified my rate of 250+ Euros a night for this place. Sticking to a name brand 3 star place would honestly be a safer bet! At the very minimum, you won't run into a bug infestation.Last but not least, I never received my security deposit back of 100 Euros! I checked out 1 week ago and still trying to get it back

My husband and I stayed here for our very first trip to Paris. We absolutely loved the accommodation. First, the staff is super responsive. I had to alter my reservation to add an extra day- one east phone call and it was done. Second, the room was spacious and modern. The AC was a major plus since that is hard to find in Paris. The bed was so comfy! We also loved the location. Super close to great cafes, shops & the train station (St Lazare) is 2 min walk away. Love this hotel!

Très bel hôtel à la décoration raffinée.Le personnel est à l'écoute et très agréable.Très bien situé près de la gare St Lazare, il présente également l'avantage d'être près des lieux emblématiques de la capitale.Nous le conseillerons et y retournerons.

The customer service was fantastic and the hotel very well decorated and clean. The breakfast was very delicious. The location was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel. FYI the air and heat are controlled by the receptionist, so you have to tell them what temp to keep it at.

Un hôtel 4 étoiles au centre de Paris. Les chambres sont très calmes, bien décorées, propres. Le lit était très large (2 m!). J’ai particulièrement apprécié la lumière bleu de la salle de bain. Les toilettes séparées.La rue, je ne l’ai pas entendu. Un peu les voisins, mais ce n’était pas très gênant.Le petit déjeuner était correct, mais sans plus. Ils ont compensé en proposant gratuitement le tea time (pratique pour ce qui ont voyagé et arrivent pour le goûter).Le personnel très accueillant et à l’écoute. La décoration des parties communes jolie.

Un hôtel magnifique où l’on a pu boire des bières parisiennes, regarder les matchs de rugby dans l’hôtel, un spa super sympa privatif avec une boissons délicieuses (nous avons pu faire 1h de spa) les chambres sont propres digne d’un 5* et le personnel est très chaleureux, on s’y sent comme à la maison.Nous avons profité du petit déjeuner aussi : excellent. Merci à olga la serveuse qui est génial.Nous aurions bien aimé connaître le nom du parfum d’ambiance qui sent trop bon !!! :-)

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel avec localisation incontestablement idéale. Être à quelques pas de la gare Saint-Lazare a grandement facilité mes déplacements. Le personnel est à l’écoute et je recommande vivement le petit-déjeuner qui est de qualité.Merci encore et à bientôt.

Nous venons de passer 2 nuits dans ce charmant hôtel, qui s’avère être une magnifique découverte. Des chambres joliment décorées et d’une propreté irréprochable, un petit-déjeuner à base de produits frais et de qualité, un staff toujours souriant et prêt à rendre service, bref une excellente adresse que nous recommandons vivement.Nous savons déjà où réserver lors de notre prochain séjour à Paris !

Terrible avoid at all costs. I showed up here for my last night in Paris to an epic disaster. I simply asked about the hotels cancellation and refund policy a week prior to going to the hotel. Simply because I ASKED about the policy, they went ahead and cancelled my reservation with no notice, confirmation, or consent. They filled my room and had no availability when I showed up, and they also told me that they refused to give me a refund. Have never had such a bad experience in my life. Miriam and Oliver at the front desk couldn’t have been more useless throughout the experience. All they essentially told me was that it was my problem. Moreover, I’m American, and these two employees were trash talking me in French at the desk not knowing that my girlfriend is French and speaks the language fluently. Like I said avoid at all costs, much better value and experience elsewhere!
