Bordeaux Village Blaye

J aime beaucoup les troquets de blaye l accueil n est pas souvent au top mais pour se désaltérer ou boire un petit café ☕️ c est bien

We went to Bordeaux Village Blaye on the recommendation of a friend as part of our France road trip and what a wonderful time we had with Les, Clarissa and of course the ever available, always bubbly Lara. We stayed in one of the apartments which was well equipped with all our everyday needs. All you needed to add was groceries if you so desired but we availed ourselves of the great restaurants and cafes withing walking distance. The apartment was in a very wonderful old building but was completely renovated inside - modern, clean and very comfortable. We felt well taken care of and at home right away. Lara will plan your day trips for you. Really, you are so close to both St. Emilion and Bordeaux that day trips are perfect from there and in either direction there is one fabulous village and Chateau after another to visit. Les is very knowledgeable about the wines of the area and will give you a superior tasting experience on his tour. We were really enchanted with our experience and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for 3 wonderful days!

The people, the location and the wine.

Gorgeous and exceptionally well run accomodation in the historic citadel town of Blaye.Our group of 6 rented two apartments for our stay (a 2 bed and a 1 bed). Both were in beautiful restored historic buildings, a few steps apart on the same street. The team running the accomodation also run a wonderful, character filled hotel on the same street, and a relaxed friendly cafe/bar on the corner. They took great care of us, and we had a fantastic time. Blaye itself is a lovely town with a lot of interest to explore nearby, Highly recommended!
