Chateau De Mairy | Château de Mairy | Weddings, family holidays, superb food,.. | Château de Mairy is an authentically renovated and traditionally decorated 17th century “Monument historique” set in 10 hectares of gardens and woodland. Located in the small village of Mairy sur Marne, the château is walkable to the local restaurant, approximately ten minutes to the town of Chalons en Champagne, where there is a station who can get you to Paris in about an hour and a half.

What a magical place. We attended a week's long wedding here and it was the perfect launchpad for a French getaway. Lots of bathrooms and bedrooms, and there are even several castle-like towers around the perimeter with full amenities. Our family of four fit perfectly in the south tower and the kids were so excited about having our own secluded space.There is an amazing bakery two blocks south on the same street as the entrance to the chateau.The pictures from the wedding show what a fantastical experience this place can be.

Our stay at Château de Mairy for our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect! We worked with Steven from the beginning, as well as Kris and Annemieke, who were on-site (but in a separate building on the property) and prepared the most delicious meals for all of our wedding celebrations. They helped make sure we and our guests were comfortable throughout our long weekend stay, and also were great to communicate with prior to the wedding. They understood exactly what we were looking for and created our perfect wedding set-up based on just a few photos. The beds were comfortable, and we received a set of clean linens to use for the weekend. The chateau itself is very authentic and beautifully decorated. We definitely recommend renting a car (vs. taking public transportation) to be able to explore the surrounding areas and get to the local grocery store. There is a train that runs adjacent to the property but it didn't bother us at all. Overall, an excellent stay and we hope to visit again in the future!!

I celebrated my birthday last weekend at Chateau De Mairy, and it was a dream come true. I arrived with a large group of friends and I had all the celebration planned ahead with Steven the owner of the chateau.From the settings, to the flower arrangements made by Romaine (daughter of Steven and expert florist), to the dinners and wine tasting experience the whole stay was truly fit for a king.We will remember this weekend for life, the excellent food cooked by the Chateau, the laughter, the fire, the champagne, the candle lights dinner, the amazing breakfasts and the dance till early morning with the DJ Johnny Bassett from Chalons en Champagne.What can I say apart from thank you Steven for looking after me and my friends and helping us creating the memory of a lifetime❤️

We had the most amazing wedding weekend here in Aug 2023. Steven is an expert in making things happen, and everything was pulled off without a hitch. Our incredible caterer, Marie Julien Catering in Paris, took care of the rehearsal dinner and everything on the wedding day (drink and snacks after the ceremony, dinner for 80, and drinks during dancing until 3 am), and Steven and his staff took care of pretty much everything else, including a beautiful breakfast for the ~30 guests staying at the chateau. It was such a beautiful weekend, it felt as if we were living in a wonderful movie. Can't wait to go back for another fun event!

Chosen by my daughter and future son in law,this venue made for a truly memorable occasion.Their wedding took place here,all guests enjoying the ambience.Unmistakably French,it was to be 'home'for four days.The Chateau with its towers and beautiful grounds seemed like stepping back in time. The locally sourced caterers and musicians were great and I can recommend the village Boulangerie just a short walk away.Along with everything else,even the weather played its part,overcast and wet,the sun burst through the clouds right on cue,for the ceremony. Great memories especially for Nanny Gears 91 years young!

Where to even start. My wife and I just got home from our wedding week with friends and family at Chateau de Mairy and all I can say is wow. Steven and his wife were excellent hosts! The chateau is even more stunning in person. The location is perfect with a bakery a 5 min walk away, Chalons-en-Champagne a 12 min drive away has restaurants, bars, and supermarkets as well as a train station to take you to Paris, Epernay, Reims, or Troyes. Although with a massive kitchen, lake, and a river with a beach there is a lot to do on the grounds of the Chateau.

I was lucky enough to to be invited to a wedding here and it did not disappoint. What an amazing setting and such a nice way to spend 4 days in rural France. The chateau was so beautifully decorated and Steven when above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. It's proximity to surrounding wineries was also a bonus. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
