We had our wedding here in September and the team at Rigaud couldn't have made it more special.The interiors are stunning - think French shabby chic (without the scruffiness) meets Soho House. Beautiful antique furniture mixed in with some modern details. The gardens are lovely and it feels like you at home in a country house. The food is so delicious and the chefs seems to nail everything, from balance of flavours, creativity, portion size, cooked to perfection to ratio of ingredients (ie: hate it when you don't have enough dressing on your salad leaves or there is too much dressing). It may as well have a Michelin star. People are still talking about the food months later.Michelle and her team were on hand and went above and beyond. It felt like our home for the weekend.Do consider to have your wedding here, it's a very special find.With loveT&T

Estuvimos un fin de semana. El sitio es enorme, para celebrar una boda o cualquier otro evento. El castillo tiene capacidad para 32 personas, unas 18 habitaciones. Además hay otras estancias fuera del castillo, lo que era el granero. También hay sala de cine, sala de juegos para los niños, jardines y huerto.Los trabajadores son casi todos ingleses, muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier cosa. El chef cocina con los productos del huerto, todo muy rico!

I was actually the photographer in Charles' review below - you can see the back of my head in the photo!This was the third time I'd photographed a wedding at Chateau Rigaud and it remains one of my favourite ever venues. First off it's super pretty and stylish - I love the way the interiors are decorated, and it really suits my photographic style. They also have a wonderful way in styling the venue for the weddings - the florals, the props, the food and drink stations. It all looks so good. And second of all, they're just super nice. Fiona was the co-ordinator on the day and as a venue they check in with you before calling the guests through to different spaces so you don't miss anything and feed you the most delicious food.If you're getting married there, don't miss sunset shots with your photographer in the vineyards.

The chateau is perfectly suited to weddings and the ceremony on the lawn in the autumn sun was a delight. The extensive grounds contain many buildings being variously used for accommodation or events. A beautiful setting for that special day.
