Unrelated to Napoleon and actually way after his time, Ferdinand Foch was a famed general during World War I. His new tactics led him to charge the Hundred Days Offensive campaign that ended the war and forced Germany to surrender.The tomb of his men carrying the great maréchal on his last road is a testament of his impact and importance. It is placed in one of the corners of the dome.
