Pyrenees Gite - Le Fournil, a magical place to stay.

I visited my Uncle Brian and Aunt Marianne in late August 2016 and -though they’re my relatives, I’m not just saying this - this was probably the best vacation I’ve had in a long time.I stayed in one of the B&B rooms which was on the second floor of the main house. The en-suite room was meticulously cleaned, spacious and perfectly decorated. It had a view of the pool, but the mountains stole the show. So, peaceful and serene – what a way to get away from it all!On a clear night it’s dark enough to see not only the stars, but the Milky Way (a first for me since I live in a large city). In addition to star-gazing, we visited a few sights nearby and even visited Spain twice (it’s only an hour or so away).I loved it so much, I’m already saving for my return trip. Thank you Brian and Marianne so, so much for having us!

Absolutely beautiful little place to stay. Marianne & Brian are fantastic hosts with a wealth of local knowledge. Breakfast includes Marianne's homemade bread and jam which is a delicious way to start the day. The rooms are beautifully furnished, light & airy, and the surrounding countryside is stunning. This was our second stay and will not be our last. Can't wait to return.

This has been one of the best holidays we have had, when it comes to hosts and accommodation and we have had many! The Gite was perfect in every way, giving all the creature comforts you need away from home. The owners, Marianne and Brian were very friendly, Brian even took the husbands out for the day on their bikes, leaving us girls to a relaxing day by the lovely pool.I would definitely recommend this place if you are planning a trip to the Pyrenees, you will not find a more friendly, quiet, luxurious place than this! We will be returning without a doubt!

Want to keep this place secret but that wouldn't be fair. This place is superb and Brian and Marianne will really look after you.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Le Fournil- our 2nd stay! This gite is by far the best we have stayed in. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean, spacious and cosy. The views from the patio and pool are spectacular- you can spend hours just looking at the scenery. Marianne and Brian are brilliant hosts- friendly and knowledgeable.There is so much to do in the area- whether you walk, cycle or drive!It is so good we are returning next year!!! Fantastic.
