Wellenreiter Surfcamp

Thanks a lot to Paul, Anton, Clemens & Lukas, Ushee, Felix, Börni and to all the staff team. I would love to come over again next year to practice surfing, and maybe to learn some german words!Une semaine sportive et très complète, merci encore à Paul, Anton, Clemens & Lukas pour leur professionnalisme, leur humour et leur gentillesse ! L'ambiance de ce camp est très agréable, partir fut un véritable déchirement. Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe, Ushee, Felix, Börni !

Die Surflehrer*innen waren super freundlich, hilfsbereit und engagiert.Der Aufbau des Anfängerkurses war sehr sinnvoll strukturiert.Das Essen ist absolut top! Mega lecker und alle wurden immer satt.Generell eine sehr gepflegte Anlage, kurzer Weg zum Strand (wenn auch über eine Düne) und das Waschhaus war ebenfalls sehr sauber und gepflegt. An Klopapier muss man halt selbst denken, aber das ist in Frankreich ja generell so..Wir hatten eine super tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Spent a week there with University students from Munich. I loved the place, the people and the way they have structured the courses. There are some ideas for improvement but considering the stuff that they have managed to do and keep up, the faults are minor.Stay - was almost perfect. Camp site was just some 100-150 meters away from the shore and behind a well placed dune. The tents were proper and water-proof and were perfect for a camp stay. The toilets and bathroom are cleaned almost thrice or four-times in the day. So it was hygienic. The only surprising thing that was missing were the toilet seats. For some strange reason, they decided to do away with them.Food- They offered breakfast and dinner in the Fullboard package. Breakfast was standard German with cereals, bread, cheese, fruits etc. You could get a baguette and prepare some lunch with ham, cheese and salad. They also offered Panini and smoothies in late afternoon. It was a nice alternative than going to the Strand Mile for food, that was competitive to expensive. Dinner was different each evening and nicely prepared (minus the blood potatoes that they had with salad dressing for dinner).Classes - I took the beginners class. The sessions were full thought and the instructors knew their stuff. Had a lot of feedback for me, as I was the weakest link in the group. It was fun overall. Just one feedback would be creating a gap between breakfast and the first session on the water. Also, communication between students and teachers over the organization of classes can be via Whatsapp or messages over a white board that may be missed at times.Other activities - the camp organizes a lot of misc activities for the residents which are also good for relaxation. Lights out at 11 PM, which was fine and the no-alcohol policy was for the best. Sport has its own addiction after all. I would definitely recommend it to those who want a good taste of German surfcamp with a penchant for learning a dynamic sport along with a nice holiday.

Wenn Surfcamp, dann hier! :)Das Wellenreiter Surfcamp bietet alles was es braucht um eine unvergessliche Woche in einem Surfcamp zu haben.Die Atmosphäre im Camp und auch am Strand ist unvergleichlich. Super nette, hilfsbereite Menschen (insbesondere das Team des Camps) und einfach eine gute & lockere Stimmung.Der Surfkurs an sich (Anfänger) hat die Erwartungen auch auf jeden Fall erfüllt - übertroffen. Unser Trainerteam war super lieb und der Unterricht, Praxis & Theorie, war auch super!Vielen Dank & vllt. bis ganz bald wieder.

Super nice

Ich war jetzt schon 2x bei Wellenreiter und kann nur Positives berichten. Das gesamte Team ist top, die Stimmung im Camp angenehm und der Surfkurs macht total viel Spaß. Die Kombination aus Theorie und Praxis ist super und sorgt schnell für Fortschritte. Ein besonderes Lob richtet sich an das Küchenteam; das Essen ist wirklich unglaublich lecker und es ist immer für Jeden etwas dabei!Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal und nach Anfänger- und Intermediate-Kurs auch den F-Kurs hier zu machen!

Wellenreiter ist die erste Surfschule, die ich weiterempfehlen würde, wenn jemand diesen tollen Sport lernen will. Die Surflehrer sind allesamt sehr darauf bedacht, jedem so viel Feedback mitzugeben, wie es geht und die Einheiten (sowohl im Wasser, als auch an Land) werden genau auf das Niveau der Gruppe abgestimmt.Die Verpflegung im Camp ist top!Egal ob Allergiker, Veganer, Vegetarier oder Fleisch-Esser…: jede*r wird mehr als satt und mit jeder Mahlzeit wird dem Gaumen geschmeichelt.Man will hier echt nicht mehr weg

Extreme unfriendly staff

Dieses Camp hat eine super Atmosphäre und sehr nette Leute, sind viele Jugendliche da, aber auch viele junge Erwachsene. Gute Kurse, leckeres Essen. Den allermeisten Besuchern wurde das Camp weiter empfohlen (Mundpropaganda) und das muss was bedeutenKann es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen
