Hôtel Montalembert

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are modern, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The location is great -- in a quiet part of a relatively quiet part of Paris, yet absolutely central. The manager on duty during my stay, Hugo, was absolutely terrific and was a tremendous help in finding places to eat and drink. I will be coming back often.

Wonderful! Excellent location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Attentive to all of our needs, always ready to help & assist. Our room was cozy and the bed was super comfortable. Nice bathroom. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Everything was perfect.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at Hotel Montalembert. The staff was wonderful!!! When the found out we were there celebrating our anniversary, the truly rolled out the red carpet. I was so impressed. I highly recommend staying here. If I’m ever back in Paris , I will definitely choose to stay there again.

Our time at Hotel Montalembert was nothing short of exceptional, and it played a significant role in making our visit to Paris truly unforgettable. The level of service we received throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff’s quick response to our request to have our two guestrooms near one another was truly appreciated.We can’t wait to go back for a visit.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Montalembert this past weekend (for our baby moon) and loved it. Warm and attentive staff. Clean & modern rooms and fantastic location. In the heart of the quaint, Saint Germain-des-PrésIt, it was less than a 10 min walk to Musee d'Orsay, 15 min walk to the Louvre and around 30 min walk to the Eiffel Tower; which was very walkable and a great way to see more of the city on foot. We'd love to stay there again once the baby is born:) A special thank you to Pascal who was so lovely during check-in and to the rest of the Team for making our stay so memorable!

This hotel, although government awarded as 5*, operates at a somewhat lower level.The front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. The bed in the room is quite comfortable, and the marble bathroom is very nice. The hotel and the rooms are quite clean.However there are several things to be aware of. We stayed in a Junior Suite. Although it would appear to be roomy on the website, the room is quite difficult to navigate given the amount of furniture. The toilet is in a separate room from the bath (quite common in Europe) but unfortunately here it is located at the opposite end of the suite. The toilet was problematic and took 4 or 5 flushes to properly clear.We forgot our electrical adapters and the front desk was nice to loan us several. They are much needed as the rooms have no US voltage alternate outlets nor do they have any USB outlets. Clearly, this needs to be modernized. The WiFi in the rooms was occasionally problematic and was not a “secure” connection.The breakfast was a bit disappointing given the price. Service here was too often absent. Anna, whose job was only to set and clear tables, was more attentive than the wait staff. For example, it was difficult to get a refill on coffee.The location of the hotel is very nice. But if you want a hotel that truly operates as 5*, you may want to look elsewhere.

Je suis venu avec un ami boire un verre malheureusement déçu par le nettoyage la table rempli de poussière pas nettoyé malgré notre présence ensuite des verres avec des énormes traces de calcaire sur un verre de vin rouge ça fait vraiment pas classe du tout pour un hôtel 5 étoiles je suis malheureusement pas satisfait et enfin le service reste correct mais bon on s’attend à un service plus professionnel pour un 5 étoiles ( revoir le nettoyage des tables ainsi que des verres)

tl;dr - Great location, great room, great service.We stayed one night at Hotel Montalembert and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in an older building, however our Deluxe Double room was large and modern. We had a comfortable standard-sized king bed, and a moderately sized bathroom with a walk-in shower. All the fixtures were as you’d expect from a 5-star hotel.There is no gym in the hotel, however we were able to access their sister hotel two blocks over (~3 min walk). The gym was a tiny room with minimal equipment, but decent enough to do a normal at-home style work out.The staff was friendly and accommodating, although we barely used any services. We did order breakfast through room service the night before and it arrived at the end of the time window we asked for. The minimal breakfast we ordered was good and satisfying; better than expected for room service.The location is excellent, especially for walking to fashion and furniture stores in the 7th. It’s a longer walk to the Eiffel Tower, but doable; it’s also easy to walk to the Notre Dame and Le Marais.We would happily stay again at the Hotel Montalembert!
