Our guide, Toni, was amazing! We received directions the evening before our tour to remind us where to meet him, including very specific details on what he would be wearing so that we could spot and connect with him immediately. Right off the bat, he made a good impression on us as he rattled off the names of everyone who had registered for the tour. Throughout the morning, Toni proudly showed us around Lyon and shared so much knowledge and history with us. He was fun, entertaining, engaging, and a true ambassador for this lovely city. We especially enjoyed when he showed us several of the hidden tunnels (called Traboules) that were originally used to transport silk between businesses and manufacturing sites and how he further highlighted their importance with personal stories from his family. Toni was so easy to be with throughout the day and before finishing the tour, he made sure that we all had plenty of recommendations for good restaurants, traditional bouchons, and places to visit while we were in Lyon. Our tour with him was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Lyon and Avignon over a long holiday weekend.

After having driven through Lyon on the way to the Provence or back to the Netherlands for many years, and now living in Aix, we decided to go for a few days to visit Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy (Paul Bocuse).The best way to quickly learn a lot about a city is to do a tour right after you arrive. We had found Toni on TripAdvisor and he showed us all the great spots of Lyon.Toni knows all the stories, from the Romans and later Venetians that lived in Lyon, the ‘traboules’, secret pass-throughs in the Vieux Centre, the ‘bouchons’ (small restaurants serving real Lyonnais dishes) and much more.Toni is a very friendly and charming tour guide who is also genuinely interested in chatting with and getting to know the people in the group. We got great tips on restaurants, museums and other places worthwhile to go to.Toni’s tour made our short stay really something we will remember. And we will certainly come back to visit all the places we didn’t have time for.

My daughter and I had a wonderful tour with Toni. A charming guide who offered lots of interesting facts and funny stories as we went. The tour inspired my daughter to research Lyon through the ages for a school project! Thoroughly recommended to anyone visiting Lyon.

The best way to discover Lyon and a MUST DO to anyone visiting Europe. Brilliant and fun tours in small groups with the most charming, kowleadgeable and energetic guide. Sightseeing Lyon without doing this tour is about missing out so much. Will do a the tour with Maud&Toni next time I'm in Lyon!

Best guided tour I have ever done! We felt like visiting the city with a friend. Moreover, Toni is a passionate ans humourous guide who knows everything about Lyon ans the world in general! He makes you fall in love with this amazing city! Whenever I come back to Lyon, I will take his tour again even though I have already taken it!

Toni nous a donné le meilleur de ce qu’un guide peut offrir : références historiques, stylistiques et artistiques, anecdotes, conseils, tuyaux,... avec en plus, cerise sur le gâteau, sourire et sympathie. Toni est très à l’écoute des envies et des capacités physiques de chacun; j’ai fait la visite avec mon beau-père de 75 ans et il en a tenu compte dans son itinéraire. Il ne compte pas son temps: la visite a plus que largement débordé des 3 heures et ce fut un plaisir passé trop vite. Je le recommande vivement.
