Garden Beach Hotel

Largely disappointing experience.Service on the beach is deplorable, food on the beach was mediocre, the rooms are outdated and not very clean, the building looks more like a vacated hotel on the boardwalk in Atlantic City than on the beach in the French Riviera.On the plus side, the beach itself was very nice and the location was perfect for shopping, restaurants, and the train station.

Nous avons séjourné à plusieurs reprises au Garden Beach. Tout d'abord La situation géographique de l'hôtel est un atout. De plus, l'établissement est très propre, le personnel accueillant et souriant Sans oublié Le voiturier qui s'occupe de notre véhicule. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la vue est à coupée le souffle . Malheureusement nous n'avons pas déjeuné au restaurant. Mais je reviendrai et conseille cet établissement.

Nous avons séjourné la dernière semaine d aout! L ambiance est juste parfaite dans cette ville à cette periode.Un accueil favorable à l hotel et parfait a la plage! En effet l hotel ne vaut pas ses 4 étoiles mais les chambres sont correctes. L aspect extérieur de l hotel fait un peu peur et les espaces communs aux étages nécessitent un coup de fraicheur mais nous avons passé un bon séjour.. le restaurant de la plage est excellent et petit-déjeuner du matin copieux!

Hôtel vieillissant. Meubles abîmés par l'humidité. Joints silicone de la salle de bain en mauvais état, barre de douche cassée...Pour un 4 étoiles à ce tarif on s'attend à mieux. Point positif la vue pour les chambres côté mer.

The hotel shows pictures of rooms with a balcony but doesn't mention them in the features. Some people get a balcony and some don't. We paid extra for a sea view room expecting a balcony, and an non obstructed sea view, they said that it was the only open room even though we booked way in advance. Additionally they charge 32 Euros per night for parking which is pretty bad generally, and I beleive we got the worst room because we came from USA. They said a large group came in, but they appeared to have given any good rooms to the group. It feels a bit like false advertising to hide behind the room description but not charge for rooms without and with a balcony. Additionally they said it was none smoking but the room really smelled like smoke

J adore cette plage.. on y mange très bien, l endroit est vraiment sympathique.. pour ce qui est du service il y a un manque d'organisation et l'ensemble du personnel n'est pas forcément agréable.. dommage

Assez moyen pour un 4 étoiles. 3 jours de séminaire avec 1 jour sans eau chaude, tv sans toutes les chaînes, porte de chambre qui ne ferme pas correctement. Tu commandes un verre au bar avec les collègues, le serveur sert 2 verres, s'aperçoit que la bouteille ne contient pas assez pour un troisième alors il rééquilibre avec les 2 premiers.

Parfait, merveilleux ( juste le lit a changer il fait mal au dos ) et la clientèle l'été a la plage était un peu sauvage.Sinon personnel plage, chambre, room service exceptionnel

Eh bien je dirais que nous n'avons pas été très bien reçue...remarque désobligeante du voiturier. Service du dîner incompetent.biere chaude.proceco éventé. Hotel vieillot. Clim en panne.Par contre service a la plage et au restaurant de la plage super.

Very satisfied with the room upgrade with sea view. Light breeze and soothing waves made over 5 nights a super experience. The hotel had some wear and tear but overall in good condition.

Super plage !!! Personnel sympa ... clientèle avec enfants rois ....... mais sinon c’est top ! Le personnel est super sympa ... le foodtruck est super avec des hot-dogs de fou !!!Les transats sont bien espacés... la mer est sublime devant ... le ponton apporte des activités !!! Les prix raisonnables !!! Une très bonne adresse !!! On va la refaire tout l’été !!!

I had a sea view room which was nice but very expensive. Interior of the hotel needs refurbishment and my stay would’ve been pleasant except for the harassment from the beach manager whenever being anywhere near the beach without having paid for one of his 25 euro beds. Room I paid for was over 250 euros per night l, but was made to feel like a skin flint for even attempting a walk on the beach! Completely ruined the holiday for me, terrible customer service and I think needs looking at. My foreign mother and father in law were also harassed by the same beach manager while trying to enjoy the beach view.Breakfast I had was included in the rate and was good except a fried egg was charged as extra! Hotel is pushing hard to charge for extras and that just ruins the customer experience. I wouldn’t go back.

The most disrespectful hotel I've been to. Do not disturb" sign means nothing; pay cash to get a bed on the beach or they'll tell you everything's taken. Want to sleep longer in the morning? Get ready to open the door to a maid in 9 am

Disturbing and disappointing experience...I would like to make note that this is the first review I ever wrote for a hotel for multiple reasons. Firstly, I have booked 4 rooms 2 with ocean views and 2 city view and then the receptionist excited me saying that the hotel gave me two rooms with balconies. However, when I went and checked in it was just 1. I can see there is a huge miscommunication between their team members !One of the rooms smelt like an ashtray LITERALLY and the bathroom floors were sticky! I think they poured alcohol and didn’t clean it, which I did not mind but when I looked for the hotel slippers i did not find any provided !The room keys stopped working every time I put the keys in my wallet or even my pocket. When I told the receptionist about the situation, he told me that yeah it’s an issue we have.I can see that this hotel is based on cost cutting and profit chasing with very expensive rates that do not suffice the service nor the accommodation !I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have to say I have never been agitated enough to write a whole negative review.The definition of depreciation can be seen in all the 4 rooms my family stayed in.Beware and check your options before you stay at the dark garden beach hotel !

A part sa situation géographique idéale face à la mer à côté du casino et de la célèbre rhumerie Pam Pam de Juan-les-Pins, cet établissement prétendument 4 **** cache d'innombrables défauts et désagréments. En effet, le lavabo en marbre était fissuré, la tuyauterie du bidet de la salle de bain et des toilettes séparées était apparente et les vitres donnant sur le balcon de notre chambre Deluxe avec la vue sur la mer étaient extrêmement sales. Mais le pire reste à venir. Etant arrivé à l'hôtel vers 17h30 avec mon amie, cet hôtel nous a facturé deux petits-déjeuners à EUR 50.00 pour le jour de notre arrivée et étant partis vers 06h45 quelques jours plus tard, il nous a également facturé le garage à EUR 32.00 pour le jour de notre départ. Malgré mes contestations, la responsable des relations clientèle, dont je tais volontairement le nom, m'a confirmé par deux fois que ma facture finale était parfaitement correcte invoquant des arguments et une logique quelque peu douteux. Cela étant, il est assurément certain que cet établissement ne me reverra plus jamais! ... - CQFD.
