really nice hotel! Friendly personal.

Superbe expérience dans l'ensemble, le cadre est magnifique, de jolies balades, un château décoré avec goût et soigné. Les hôtes sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients.Nous avons pu profiter d'un barbecue en terrasse le soir avec salades et brochettes maisons. Des produits locaux. Un accueil sympathique.

We stayed for about 15 minutes. The owner has done an excellent job presenting and promoting his hotel however the delta between online presentation and reality is really laughable. The room rate and reviews set an expectation level that this hotel cannot meet. The grounds, exterior and interior are very, very tired and long overdue renovation. That said the foyer and room was clean and well presented just very tired and not in a rustic charming sense. Having just checked out of a renovated 17th century Chateau in Burgundy same day the difference was stark. I’m sure I’m not the first to have got back in their car and left.

Kasteel en landgoed wordt zo veel mogelijk origineel gehouden maar is wel duidelijk al wat ouder. Met regenbui was er op 1 kamer een grote lekkage bij het raam. We krijgen daarop direct de mogelijkheid een andere kamer te gebruiken.

Ik wil van de gelegenheid gebruik maken om enkele negatieve reviews te weerleggen. Ja het geheel is oud, maar wat verwacht je van een gebouw uit 1600. Ja het park heeft meer aandacht nodig, maar het park is gigantisch en het gezin doet alles zelf.Je voelt de geschiedenis van het pand, de jachtopzichtershut staat er nog, het park en het kasteel ademen geschiedenis. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn heel vriendelijk. De gastvrouw heeft duidelijk een toets gelegd naar haar asiatische afkomst in het decor, mij stoort het niet, maar men kan niet ontkennen dat het afwijkt van de originele indeling van het huis.We werden goed ontvangen, ook al waren we te vroeg. Het zwembad werd open gedaan, ondanks dat we eigenlijk pas 6 uur later mochten gebruik maken van het zwembad. Maar we waren vroeg, na een wandeling door het park was de kamer al klaar. De uitbaters hadden een plek in een nabijgelegen restaurant geregeld en het eten was er subliem!Het ontbijt ter plaatse was niet zoals op hotel, maar ruim voldoende, en lekker.Kortom, na het lezen van enkele verschrikkelijke reviews voor aankomst werden we wat ongerust. Hier bleek echter niets van waar. Het geheel is oud, maar dat hadden we verwacht. Zo veel kortzichtigheid in de reviews van sommigen hadden we daarintegen niet verwacht.Een leuke ervaring met kids.

It was such a pleasure, we decided to extend our one-night-stay with one more. The hosts were very very welcoming. At our arrival, a reservation at a nearby restaurant was already arranged. The swimming pool was nice, clean and fresh. The rooms (and whole house) were greatly decorated. Definitely recommend, loved to stay here.

Très joli château dans un domaine boisé de 4 hectares.Belles chambres spacieuses aux mobilier soigné et boiseries d'époque. Elégant et très soigné, bourré de charme et de romantisme.Propriétaires attentionnés et disponibles.Jolie piscine à l'écart dans le parc, calme et bien équipée.Très bon séjour, à recommander

An elegant chateau with delicious restaurant standard meals. As it is run by the couple who own it, the house is a home rather than an impersonal hotel, which we preferred. Our family suite was in an interesting upstairs annex so were no issues about the children being quiet for the room next door etc. French breakfast in the conservatory was nicely followed by a walk around the substantial grounds. We really did enjoy our stay here.

I was here for 30 minutes and we left after we heard the swimming pool was not functional and open!The location is amazing but very remote from everything incl restaurantsI can’t give it a good rate because thru booking the pool should be there but it wasn’t.The reception and entrance in the castle is more like entering somebody’s home.

What a disappointment! Not recommended.a) What was good? The Chateau from the outside. b) What was not good? The rest:Old rooms - not historically old or antique, just cheap old and worn.No service at all - accept for a basic breakfast.Unfriendly host - not only to us but also the way he spoke to other guests.We were looking for a French Chateau experience - how wrong can it get...Not recommended!

Highly romantic hideaway with a gorgeous decoration. It’s a real castle with very large romantic park and a beautiful swimming pool! Staying there one definitely feels like a prince or princess.The owners are so nice and friendly.Everything was perfect and we definitely plan to come back!

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön. Die Inhaber sehr freundlich. Wir waren sehr spontan dort, der Inhaber hat uns in der Umgebung ein Platz in einem Restaurant besorgt.
