MSK65 Pyrenees-Accommodation in Sarrancolin

What a place! Location is perfect for the mountains. The skiers and hikers in our group were spoilt for choice. House was perfect for our needs (as was Chez Bruno for drinks a short walk away...) and communication and available equipment was above and beyond what was hoped for. Looking forward to going back with my bike in the warmer months too.

We stayed at this place this summer and it was absolutely fantastic. Lovely little town and great accommodation. Really clean, light and airy and great for a big group. Plenty of walking and cycling for adults and nice walks for younger kids too. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic visit to a great location. The apartment was beautifully located in the centre of the town, so close to two bakeries for the morning croissants and easy access to the hills behind for walking and hiking trails!We have been twice now, once in winter for the skiing where you have at least three ski resorts within 45 mins drive and once for summer to watch the tour de France.Genuinely beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of France

I had an absolutely delightful stay at the gite! Sarrancolin village itself is incredibly pretty, with its cobblestone streets and quaint architecture, making every stroll feel like a leisurely walk through a storybook.One of the highlights was sampling some mouthwatering local cuisine at the nearby restaurants, and they did not disappoint. The flavours and ambiance made each meal a memorable experience. And let's not forget the lovely bakery just around the corner where we picked up fresh croissants and bread every morning – the perfect start to our days.For those seeking outdoor adventures, this village is a dream come true. The location is ideal for skiing, biking, and walking in the surrounding mountains. The scenery is breathtaking, and the opportunities for outdoor activities are endless. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie or simply looking to soak in the natural beauty, this place has something for everyone.As for the Gite itself, it was the epitome of cosy comfort. The accommodation had everything we needed, and more. It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our group of nine, and we felt right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with all the amenities to ensure a stress-free stay.All in all, our stay at this Gite in the charming village of Sarrancolin was nothing short of perfect. If you're looking for a beautiful, tranquil, and adventure-filled getaway in the French mountains, this place is an absolute gem. I can't recommend it enough, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

Stayed here for a few days following advice from a friend and it was great. Characterful accommodation renovated to a really high, modern standard, just round the corner from the town's main square. The town is small, peaceful and great as a getaway. In the pyrenees with lovely scenery, great walks and fantastic cycling including the Col D'Aspin (a regular Tour de France climb) a few km away which is a great thing to say you've done!Definitely planning to use the accommodation again with my family, possibly as a base for skiing with resorts within 45 mins drive or so....

We had a fabulous stay here, Rich and his team took take of everything for us. The accommodation is in a stunning location, with lots of walking and cycling right on your doorstep. Sarrancolin also has some lovely restaurants and bars which we visited in the evening, the locals are very friendly! We will definitely be coming back and could not recommend this place highly enough.

We stayed at this accommodation in May of last year. The place was immaculate and super comfortable. The hosts helped us with any questions we had about the area. Such a cute little village with lots of hiking, biking and exploring.

Had a great time in the Pyrenees - we enjoy the fact it's so much quieter than the Alps. This is a great location for skiing with a few resorts nearby (we went to St-Lary-Soulan and Peyragudes which were both great - St Lary is a bit bigger but both have great skiing).The accommodation was perfect. Very clean and we had no problem getting in and out. Sarrancolin is a quiet village but there are a couple of nice local places to eat - Chez Jules does great tapas and Restaurant de France has a good menu of hearty food - perfect after a long day on the slopes. Also has some beautiful hills to explore when you aren't skiing.

Spent a week in the house during the Feb half term with 10 people (accommodation with perfect for the group size) and skied every day. The closest ski resort was perfect for both the experienced and new skiers in the group. It was great to return the house every evening and the facilities were exactly what you needed after a long day on the slopes. Equally, the local town had great restaurants and bars all reasonably priced with a traditional french feel. Local pub also put the rugby on for us! Only an hours drive from Toulouse airport. Will be returning next year.
