We were in France with our older children 23 son and 17 daughter. Dale and Debbie are just wonderful people! We enjoyed our ride to Mont Saint Michel from Bayeau with Debbie. She was great to talk to and gave us great information about the area. The next day we had our D Day Tour with Dale. He took us to some extraordinary spots and gave a very interesting stories about World War II veterans he has met through out his time as a guide. Dale can tell a wonderful story and he had our attention the whole time. We were so happy we found them for our tour and would most certainly recommend them!

My family and two friends – a group of seven people – booked a one-day tour with Mr. Booth to be shown around the Normandy beaches and surrounding communities. I and 9 of my friends were lucky enough to get a 2 day Normandy tour with Dale Booth and the tour was absolutely incredible. Dale was outstanding in breaking down the events that took place on DDay. He was very professional, very informative and very passionate about the tour. He came with maps, photos, and charts that we could follow as he gave us the information. Dale Booth's private tour of the Normandy D-Day beaches, cemetery and other sites far exceeded our expectations and was one of the best tours we have ever taken. Dale has been a Normandy tour guide for decades and the depth and breadth of his knowledge is amazing. Dale provides more than the typical tour - he adds historical context, military strategy, maps and pictures, as well as first-hand accounts of those who were there. He spent a little more time at the beach where my father landed on D-Day, as well as the villages my father likely traveled through as an Army combat engineer after leaving Utah Beach. Dale is professional, prompt and friendly, and we felt totally comfortable with him. We never felt rushed. His tour vehicle is spacious, clean and well-equipped. He picked us up at our hotel right on time in the morning and brought us back at the end of the day. We highly recommend Dale Booth!

My husband and I had a full day American tour with Dale in October and it was amazing. We saw, experienced and learned so much, more than we could have on our own or even in a group tour. Dale knows his stuff and adds stories from people he has interviewed who were in the war. His past military experience really informs his tours and his story telling. Having lived the life of an infantryman, Dale was able to explain, in detail, the strategy, the challenges and the horrors of what these men went through in 1944 with a profound empathy that will stay with us always.I booked the tour through his wife, Debbie. Our day with Dale Booth in Normandy centered on the American landings at Utah and Omaha beaches and the subsequent troop movements into France. Dale’s depth of knowledge and experience with this topic was amazing. His ability to tell the story by combining the macro-picture of the landings with the individual stories of troops whom he has interviewed in depth creates a realistic and personal and moving narrative of what happened on D-Day and thereafter and what those soldiers faced during that period. The tour makes Dale’s book on D-Day a must read. We highly recommend Dale, his book and tour, and will be back soon to spend a second day on the British and Canadian landings. In addition, Dale is a lot of fun to spend a day with.
