Hotel Castello di Sinio

What a hidden gem.... the property ...the food... the location...but above & beyond the owner Denise & her staff are great. The attention to detail from the minute you book to the time you leave is second to none. Follow up on very detail ...making sure your stay is first class.Their breakfast is great...the dinner is incredible..Just love this special place ...that was built in the 1100's

The castle is a magnificent setting, in a picturesque town near the Plaza where the locals gather for the weekend festivities. Denise, the proprietor, was a consummate professional and an exceptional host. When our self-selected tour guide fell through, she whipped up an itinerary in a matter of minutes and saved the day (I highly recommend booking your wine tasting tours directly with her). Among her many talents are her culinary skills which she showcased for us on our last night. We finished dinner around 11 pm and went to bed. I was surprised she was up at 5:30 offering us breakfast as she knew we had an early check out! Thank you again Denise and the wonderful staff at Castello di Sinio.

This castle was so magical. Everything was superb from the service, the food, the setting, and incredible hospitality. Thank you Denise for creating such a beautiful castle.

Bellissima location, raffinata, elegante, storica.Il ristorante si trova esattamente nel castello di Sinio, dove una gentilissima signora americana se n'è presa cura ristrutturandolo nei minimi particolari, e lo ha reso una dimora sofisticata.Tutti i piatti che vengono proposti, sono cucinati dalla signora, oltretutto anche molto brava come cuoca.Piatti anch'essi raffinati e ben curati..Sono stata in questo posto come ospite dunque non posso valutare il costo..Ma come tale posso dire che è stata una graditissima sorpresa...Davvero complimenti!

trecherous to find, on narrow mt roads, however its a 12 c castle and superb restaurant. take the longer main road from alba, esp at night. spectacular views

We felt like we were in a medieval fairy tale in Italy staying here! The staff was absolutely amazing and made our experience - from being served a local wine upon check in, to dining in the restaurant and being told about all the fresh ingredients and paired with delicious local wine, to being shown our room with every detail included. The room was fantastic - we stayed in the chapel room - and we slept so well in the beautiful bed with the views of the town, pool, and courtyard. Everything was perfect - be sure to come here - you won’t regret it!!

Top notch hotel. Every detail has been thought of. Have been to many wonderful hotels over the years but this is a stand out. Hotel restaurant location is charming, quaint and intimate… and the food is best we have had in Italy. We’re going back again tomorrow for dinner. The 5 star rating is well deserved. I’d give more than 5 stars if possible.

I have to preface this review by stating we haven't stayed here yet, but I've been SO impressed with the level of customer service, I had to write a 5-star review. My husband and I will visit this hotel in October, which is high season in this area. The entire staff has quickly responded to all of our questions, put together an itinerary for our entire stay (for a small fee of 60 euros) which includes excursions, dinner reservations, and transfers, and advised us on other options in Italy as we continue our vacation. I've traveled extensively and this is above and beyond. Denise and her staff are second to none. We can't wait to visit this fall.
