amazing place

Very peaceful, relaxed and private. Great hosts, very friendly, hospitable and welcoming. Pool was amazing and very much needed, the weather was lovely. Gite de Berme has a central location to lots of castles, picture postcard towns and vineyards. We had a wonderful family holiday. Well done to the owners.

We stayed as a family of 5 at Gîte Le Berme in June 2019 along with our 6 month old baby and have to say that it couldn't have been any better! Peter and Pauline pay attention to every detail you could ask for.Everything we needed for the baby was there including cot and highchair.The pool is wonderful and just what we needed to cool down during the hot weather we had.We had a BBQ whilst staying here as well, purchasing some lovely meats and vegetables from the local Tuesday morning Market from Castillonnès Whilst here we sampled some of the very lovely local wines as well a must do for any budding wine connoisseur wannabes!If you are after peaceful grounds to wander or to just sit and chill by the pool then this is the place to be. Only a short 20 minute drive from the local Bergerac airport. I am sitting in the UK now wishing I was back at Gîte Le Berme and we can't wait for our next trip!!Simon

Gite le berme is a real treat.Nestled in secluded farmland, the property is very quiet and peaceful allowing you to fully relax and unwind; you wouldn’t even know the owners live next door!The gite is equipped with a good sized swimming pool which is perfect for taking a dip to cool off after you’ve been reading for an hour or so and if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous e-bikes are on offer for you to explore the local area.We really enjoyed our stay and will be looking forward to heading back shortly.
