Chalet La Forêt

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le chalet la petite forêt.Martha et Nick sont très gentils et accueillants. Leur chalet est magnifique, dépaysement montagnard assuré avec modernité ! Les alentours sont superbes. Nous avons pu nous reposer au coin du feu, au milieu de la forêt enneigée et des montagnes avec jacuzzi et sauna traditionnel en prime. À 5 minutes du centre ville à peine, c’est très pratique. Tout ce dont vous pouvez rêver pour un séjour à la montagne !Merci encore! Nous reviendrons c’est certain.

Such a magical place! When we first saw this chalet online we were so excited and immediately booked and when we first arrived at the property it had surpassed our expectations. With the pretty lights draped in the trees and the chalet makes the place look so enchanting, not to forget the Nordic style sauna and turbo jacuzzi to relax you after a day in the slopes! Was definitely one of my favourite moments having a glass of bubbly in the jacuzzi with the backdrop of the mountains and view of the stars :) The chalet itself had state of the art appliances, heated floors with a very homey and cosy feel. The owners Martha and Nick couldn’t have been more welcoming and lovely, they have a wealth of knowledge of the area and gave us all the best recommendations and tips. They were super accommodating and responded swiftly when we had any questions or requests. We were there for 2 weeks and if it was available for another week we would of booked for the 3rd! Couldn’t recommend this chalet enough,Thank you Martha and Nick for an amazing stay! x

Qui ne connaît pas la série “Virgin River“? Qui ne souhaiterait pas y passer quelques jours? Eh bien... nous l'avons trouvé! Chez Martha et Nick, au milieu d'une forêt digne de la série emblématique, leur chalet “La petite forêt“ est juste... Amazing!Le confort? Tout y est! Les aménagements? Intérieurs (de la cuisine super équipée au wifi) comme extérieurs (que dire des moments dans le jacuzzi et le sauna!) plus qu'idéaux! La décoration? Parfaite combinaison entre le typique et le moderne pour une ambiance chaleureuse et confortable! La localisation: un accès donné à Chamonix en train à la fois pratique et pittoresque! La vue? Où que se tournent nos yeux, les montagnes dans leur habit saisonnier avec un panorama direct sur l'Aiguille du midi, grandiose! En bref, un “Amazing“ dépaysant, exceptionnel, magnifique et surtout magique!Sans oublier l'accueil! Martha et Nick sont bienveillants, charmants, chaleureux, serviables, souriants, tout en discrétion, mais aussi pleins de bons conseils aussi bien pour de bons restaurants que pour de belles balades, tout cela réuni dans un classeur bien fourni!Alors voilà, le French Virgin River existe, et ce fut extraordinaire d'y avoir passé quelques jours! À n'en pas douter, on souhaiterait déjà y retourner!Merci à Martha et Nick... pour tout!

My wife and I stayed here at the Petit Chalet for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chalet itself is well-appointed and has a great rustic feel while still offering modern amenities. The views of the mountains on either side were just incredible! The chalet also comes with access to a wood-fired sauna and an outdoor hot tub. The most outstanding feature...was the owners! Martha and her husband were incredible friendly and very knowledgeable about Chamonix and its surroundings. We talked with them at length on multiple occasions and they felt like instant friends. We willd definitely plan to return!

We stayed here for a week in Jan 2018! This is a lovely chalet. Very child friendly... our two year old son loved it! Walking distance to the Flegere lift (5 mins), and a flat walk into Chamonix centre (20 mins). We were a party of 5, and stayed here without a car- It’s located in the village of Les Praz, which is a fairly small place but it has its own shop and a variety of eating places, a couple of bars and a few ski shops. The local bus service is great, and there is a stop just at the end of the lane (about a 2 minute walk from the chalet). Martha is the most helpful and friendly host you could wish to meet, nothing is too much trouble! She supplied us with so much helpful info leading up to our stay and during our week there! The chalet is really cosey and has a great layout which makes it ideal for more than one family to stay there. There are two rooms and a bathroom on each floor as well as a mazot outside which sleeps two and has its own bathroom. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay!! The hot tub and sauna are an added bonus :-) Thank you again for a great week!!

It is a stunning chalet. We had a great time! I would have giving it 5 stars if there was a fireplace in the living room. A lot of information are available on their website.

What an amazing place! First time in the mountains for spring/summer and this was the perfect place to stay. Our two girls and dog loved the chalet, garden and hot tub with spectacular views - utterly magical! Martha is an amazing host who thinks of all the details - and a fantastic guide - her knowledge meant we made the most of every single day with the right activities for us. We will definitely return!

Fantastic Chalet with lovely Mazot, Sauna and Jacuzzi on its large garden. Great for groups of around 10 people. It also as a great website with tons of useful information. Highly recommended.

Beautiful chalet with a lovely jacuzzi and sauna. Martha and Nick were great hosts and were really informative and thoughtful. Cozy and well equipped, suitable for families and groups of friends. Easy to access the ski lifts by the 2 and 2B buses that come by every 10 mins during the peak snow season. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Incroyable ! Lieux pour se détendre avec tout le confort nécessaire, en supplément, jacuzzi, sauna, internet, vue incroyable sur l'aiguille du Midi, des propriétaires très aimables ! A conseiller !
