Statue de La Fayette

Did you know that this statue honours the French involvement to the American independence? The person riding the horse is La Fayette and a lot to support the AmericansBut... This isn't the original statue. The world war II German army removed it. It was an empty spot till 2004 when artist Claude Goutin made a new one.His works have been exhibited throughout Europe (Rome, Milan, Naples, Berlin or Brussels), but also in France, in Paris, at the Rodin Museum, at the Grand Palais and at the Museum of Modern Art.
