Paris By Scooter

My girlfriend and I did a tour with Xavier back a few years ago and omg was it breathtaking!Paris is of course marvelous and if you're lucky enough to have a sunny weather (which was our case), discovering it on a vintage scooter is just the best experience ever. You're just overwhelmed with freedom and beauty all the way through. Plus we learnt so many interesting things about the city's history thanks to Xavier's accurate knowledge. Thanks again. If we ever come back to Paris, first thing we do is book another tour.

My girlfriend and I did the scooter tour today. Lucas was our guide and we had a great day. Tons of fun, we got to see so many different things, I think it's the best way to see Paris as you can cover so much ground so quickly and parking is super easy.We stopped a couple of times for coffee, had some lunch, all in all a solid days entertainment.Special thanks to Lucas, super nice, informative and really funny. We had a blast hanging with him, it was like hanging with a friend.Xavier was super helpful in booking the tour and they even arranged and paid for the Uber to pick us up from our Hotel and drop us back afterwards.....at their expense. Very cool. Thanks Xavier

Absolutely the best way to see the sights in Paris. My wife and I purchased the Paris tour and spent 4 hours driving all over the city. I was a little apprehensive at first because traffic in Paris can be challenging and the streets are definitely confusing. None of that remotely effected our tour. Our guide, Milan, was outstanding. He was extremely nice, funny, and knowledgeable of the entire city. We went to well-known places in Paris and also hidden gems that had a lot of local character.I read the reviews for this company and the advice of many past Paris visitors prior to booking. The individuals that did not use Paris by Scooter made a mistake. Most people referred to renting a scooter in Paris as a death wish and I can whole heartedly disagree with that sentiment after completing the tour. It was easy to follow someone who knows the city and knows the best streets to take. When we stopped at important sights Milan would pass along factual information, interesting unknown tidbits, and then warn us about any possible trouble we might encounter along the way.My wife and I rode on the same scooter, I drove while she took pictures of everything. The scooter was in good shape and the company delivered it to where we were staying. I definitely recommend the Paris tour and we will book the Versailles tour next time we visit Paris. Do not let others scare you away from an amazing experience.

Me & my girl friend LOVED the Paris by Scooter tour!!! This was our first time to paris and wanted to see pretty much everything... so we did the Paris in a Day package (which we HIGHLY recommend) with our guide Milan.Despite the late start (my fault as i provided the wrong hotel info and milan was promtply on time at the given address) we loved every second/minute/hour of our tour!!! Vespas were delivered on time, very informative on safety procedures and what to keep aware of. Milan definitely made it really easy & safe scootering around in a vespa in paris for the first time!On top of the given sites already scheduled to be seen... Milan has shown us some other beautiful spots of Paris that we would have never thought about seeing or entering which was amazing. We also got to meet Xavier (owner) at one of the stops who was genuinely nice and seeing how our tour was going. other spots that Milan has catered for us was the restaurant where they filmed Amelie for my grlfriend and a man in the wall for my self. as for all the monuments and other stops such as the louvre, arc de trioumph, eiffel tower, notre dame, etc etc... Milan was knowledgeable about everything and more towards all we have seen, has even given recommendations & advice for additional must sees for next 3-days of our stay :)it truly IS PARIS IN A DAY Milan has definitely went above and beyond for us to receive the experience of a life time which we would never ever forget, that we went a little over the scheduled time due to our somewhat late start to cover itinerary + our personal requests :)We loved it so much that we rented the scooter for an additional 2 more days during our stay. Honestly, if we did not have the scooters... we definitely would have not covered what we did vs doing hop on/off buses or public trans. and most importantly, if we did not have the tour... we would not have a basic idea of where to go to within the streets of Paris.Paris by Scooter hands down must do! especially for any first time visit. Also, do it early on in your trip so you can decide whether or not you would like to rent/keep the scooter for your next x-amount of days :) on top of having a good overview of the city, locations, and history by a personal tour guide!Definite 5x STARS

My girlfriend and I rented a scooter for the majority of the time we spent in Paris. Xavier delivered it to our hotel and was very helpful describing the operations and answering questions. I would recommend a scooter as a way to see the city. Traffic looks a little intimidating at first but Paris drivers are much more considerate of scooters than US drivers. We had a great time, and when I go back I will rent again !

Não conhecíamos Paris ainda e decidimos escolher uma maneira diferente para explorá-la.Após diversos relatos positivos, optamos por alugar uma scooter. Escolhemos os serviços da ParisByScooter e a experiência foi a melhor possível. Resolveram inclusive a minha preocupação de ir até a loja: trouxeram na hora marcada a Vespa para o meu hotel, com capacetes, contratos, e o GPS, que foi indispensável em Paris.Foi, com certeza a forma mais divertida, agradável e rápida para explorar Paris por completo. Além é claro, da facilidade em estacionar praticamente em qualquer local permitido.Ir até o Palácio de Versailles virou um belo passeio e com ela, podemos levar a comida para o esperado picnic em seus jardins.Tudo em Paris fica ainda mais bonito à noite, quando utilizamos a Vespa para visitar os mesmos pontos turísticos e fazer algumas fotos noturnas. Tudo muito seguro e perfeito.Recomendo: use o GPS fornecido, não adianta levar o seu por conta da tomada elétrica específica. Faça seu roteiro antecipadamente, reserve tempo para boas surpresas como museus e monumentos que tenha interesse em ficar mais tempo.Com certeza, quando voltarmos a Paris, essa será a forma que utilizaremos para nos locomover novamente.Obrigado, Xavier e Milan!! I highly recommend Paris by Scooter if you or your travel companion has experience riding motorcycles or scooters. It really enhanced our trip to Paris. Milan was an incredible tour guide. He was knowledgeable, professional, charming and fun! We had such a great time that we decided to rent the scooter for the remainder of our stay in Paris. I was a little hesitant but it was worth every dime. We were able to drive right up to attractions and park in convenient designated scooter parking. We avoided the hassle of public transit and had such a rich experience seeing more than we could have dreamed. My husband and I drove straight to the Eiffel tower and were able to take amazing pictures at night. Paris by Scooter and Milan as a tour guide are more than deserving of a 5 star rating. Magnifique!

We did the Versailles tour and then rented the scooter for an extra day. The tour was great. It was a lot more fun to drive to Versailles on a scooter than a bus or a train full of other tourists! Milan was an excellent tour guide and took us around to see the gardens and fountains of Versailles. He also took great pictures.After the tour we kept the scooter and drove around Paris on our own. Monmartre was especially fun. A scooter is a perfect way to get around Paris as it's easy to find free parking so you can zip from attraction to attraction. I was a bit nervous about driving around Paris but got the hang of it pretty quickly.

We had such a wonderful time on our day trip to Versailles in France. Xavier is the owner and was very helpful and proficient in English. He also helped us on very short notice and went out of his way to accommodate us for this amazing day and experience. Our tour guide Milan was also fantastic, and guided us through the tour in the most amazing helpful way possible!Another great thing was that the scooters were clean and that they were actually Vespas and not just ordinary scooters.Thank you Paris by Scooter! Well done!

Versailles scooter tour was awesome! The gardens and Vespa ride to it were so beautiful.

I contacted Paris by Scooter by email and Xavier handled my queries quickly and efficiently.Two days later, Milan took me on a fantastic overview tour on Wednesday. I explored on my own on Thursday.I went and saw things you cannot see any other way. They also were great adjusting to my goals as a photographer, including scouting locations and adjusting the tour.Driving in Paris isn't bad at all if you just don't try and match what the other, local, scooters are doing. Drive, stop, look, easily park, go places you can't go any other way without hours of metro or many dollars of cab / uber.With the scooter the city was my oyster. I opened Yelp up to the whole city, found great places to eat, and went there. I visited all but 2 of the 20 paris districts. It's really the way to see the city beyond the basic tourist stuff.I recommend the tour, especially with a bit of how to handle traffic/circles advice (Paris city round abouts are different traffic pattern than the typical round about in Europe). And then gad about on your own.When we next return I'm getting one for me and one for my wife. It truly is the best way to explore Paris, like a local.Visited August 2016
