French Mystique Bike Tours

My wife and I did the 3 Hour Marne River / Bois de Vincennes Bike Tour. It was exactly what we wanted in a France/Paris bike tour! Beautiful, fun, and safe. Bruce was an amazing guide. It was clear that he designed this tour himself based on what he finds magical about France, and he shared his insider knowledge with us. The bikes were high quality and well maintained, and the tour lacked for nothing. We would do another tour with French Mystique in a heartbeat. We just have to get back to France!

The perfect bike tour experience. Great exercise and interesting history with a knowledgeable, hip tour guide. Bruce greeted me at the station with bikes in tip-top condition and pre-sized for my fit. Easy-peasy, ready to roll.Highlights from the tour were a visit to the historic Menier chocolate factory and its unique village. We also toured the amazing Château de Champs-sur-Marne and its lovely gardens. My favorite part of the trip was casually peddling along the Marne River while Bruce informed me of local customs, fun facts and insider tips. Bruce and I stopped for lunch and a chat. I truly enjoyed Bruce’s company.The biking was not too challenging. An easy workout with plenty of stops along the way for water and insight from Bruce.If you want a fresh air filled delightful day while visiting Paris this tour is for you.

I did the Off the Beaten Path" tour of Paris with Bruce and had a great time. (See pics for a few places we explored) He was ready with a good-fitting bike that was in good working order and we were off. I chose this tour because1) I'm used to riding in urban areas in the US

We took the 3 hour Marne River tour with some extensions and had the best time. I had wanted to do this tour with Bruce since reading about it in a New York Times article at least 5 years ago and it was even better than anticipated. The area is beautiful, Bruce is flexible and responsive, and the bikes were a pleasure (which is definitely not the case on many of the tours we have taken), well maintained , handled well and not too heavy. The tour fulfilled my curiosity about a major River that runs into the Seine and some history around the development of this beautiful area so close to Paris. Bruce’s directions re getting out to the starting point town was perfect, and with the rapid connections of the Paris Metro and the RER-A, we got out there in no time. I would repeat the whole thing tomorrow but alas we are back in NYC.
