Le Pommier Gites

Very welcoming place.The main house is brilliant for a family or a group of friends. The smaller house is also great for the same things just smaller numbers, and the flat is perfect for a couple of friends or a couple. There is a pool and large garden are a great way to relax and a games room too. Wifi available.

We have just returned from the most wonderful stay at Le Pommier- I can’t recommend it highly enough! Linda and Alex are the perfect hosts; they are so lovely and helpful and really have thought of everything in equipping these houses. They have even provided their gorgeous cat Pebble, who was my companion when reading in one of the beautiful garden areas! We stayed in the Gîte and other family members stayed in the Maison; this worked so well as we each had our own space but were also able to spend lots of happy times together at the pool, barbecuing or at the games barn/table tennis. The houses are in a beautiful area with lots to visit too. Book now - you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay at Le Pommier, Linda and Alex were very welcoming and we felt at home straight away. The gîte is perfectly comfortable (best ever shower too). The pool is big and deep, set in a beautiful private garden with shady areas as well. It’s very quiet day and night, beautiful walks from the doorstep, yet a lovely town with buzzing market and many other things to see nearby. It was hard to leave!

Beautiful gite in a lovely area. Big pool and garden, comfortable beds and everything you need. Linda and Alex are excellent hosts. Great for children.

Our 2nd visit was just as fantastic as our 1st. This time we booked the whole place for our 25th anniversary celebrations. Linda & Alex were the perfect hosts and even threw us a surprise anniversary afternoon tea. We will be back for another visit, I recommend you give them a go as well.

If you're looking for a real Holiday at France's countryside: look no further. This is it. We stayed in the main house that came with a beautiful garden and a relaxing pool.Alex and Linda are lovely hosts and they do make you feel welcome. This, in combination with the sunflowers, cornfields, lovely markets and good vibes... We really wanted to stay for the rest of the year.Pebble the house cat woke us every morning with a friendly meow. The kids played with the neighbor's dog (Rex) and the location was situated ideally for a few trips to Ribérac, the lake nearby and Bergerac (for instance).This was more like an experience than just a vacation.

We stayed in the smaller of the two gites at Le Pommier and I can't recommend them highly enough. Linda and Alex were extremely welcoming and very helpful with local recommendations etc. The property was spotless and extremely well-equipped. It's always such a pleasure when holiday homes have all the little extras you need for a week, like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags etc - so nice not to have to buy it all just for the one week.The pool and games barn were a huge hit with the kids (and adults!), so much to keep everyone entertained.I would definitely recommend Le Pommier Gites. Best night sleep away from home I’ve had for a long time.A home away from home is the summary I can give for my stay here.Great interior attention to detail, lovely garden to relax in.Tasteful decoration in all rooms and well maintained not something I can often say.Then the service Linda and Alex are amazing really look after you.Five mins from Ribérac with great walks from the house.Recommend for a relaxed visit in a great location to explore the regionBrad Quarless

Lovely! Linda and Alex are wonderful hosts, and the gite was fantastic - big roomy bedrooms, lovely living room, well-equipped kitchen and all very clean. The swimming pool and huge garden were great, plus indoor games including table tennis and table football and cupboard full of board games! A fantastic week in the Dordogne.

Fantastic place to stay. House is fully kitted out to your every need. Having the terrace overlooking the pool is lovely in the evening for chilling out. Pool is really nice, especially if you have kids. Our kids enjoyed the games in the barn (pool, table-top football and table tennis) whilst I indulged myself in book supply.Hosts are very knowledgeable about where to eat/drink, local markets, places to visit etc. Couldn't recommend this more highly!!
