j'avais loue cet endroit pour une semaine et grosse desilusion logement sur trois etages pas de places de parking a proximite pas de jardin juste celui du propriaitaire que vous devez partager avec eux donc si vous voulez faire un barbecu ca sera en coloc allez 100m pas accesible aux personnes handicapees tres peut de materiel pour faire la cuisinne meubles tres vetuste chambres qui laisse a desirer ( si vous fumez il est dit dans le reglement et vous demande daller sur la place du village a 100m) aucune explications sur le fonctionement des poubelles juste on vous demande d'allez au resto d'a cote qui doit etre un ami et eux fume sous vos fenetres c'est la premiere fois que je suis decu par un logement loue sur ce site A FUIRE !!!!!"

We spent 2 weeks here recently and confirm that it was exactly as described and what we were expecting. It is a lovely property, full of character, in a great location and the host is extremely helpful and friendly.My only (minor) criticism is that storage space is limited but in a property of this age and style that is not surprising.

The review by Jerome Soleilhac here is not a fair representation of the property, if we go by the multiple positive reviews and it’s rating on Booking, Air BnB and Arbitel.He’s within his right to not like the place but the information he provided is just inaccurate!1. The listing clearly indicates there is no Garden; the owner offers their’s next door if the tenant wants to use it. Many tenants do.2. The furniture is not “very dilapidated”. Look at the pictures on the rental listing sites.3. The parking is only 1 minute or 95 m from the rental. Rentals in a medieval village built in the 1400s are not going to have assigned parking with each property. So the statement “no parking spaces nearby” is just false.4. “Very little equipment for cooking” does not indicate if he is talking about the garden or the rental property, either way both are stocked. The garden has a full set of BBQ tools for whoever asks. The house has an induction cooker, microwave and toaster oven, and all necessary cooking utensils.5. “If you smoke … go to the village square 100m away”. Just false. The house is a non smoking rental and clearly states that, people can smoke outside if they choose or in the garden. Nobody has ever been told that they have to go to the village square.6. “No explanation of bins”. False; every guest is told on check in what the routine with the bins is, and when the collection day is.7. “Rooms that leave something to be desired” is an opinion, but Jerome fails to mention that every room is pictured in the listings, all are meticulously cleaned by a hired housekeeper before arrival and every guest gets a full tour of the property when they arrive. If I arrived and a place didn’t match the listing pictures I wouldn’t stay. No it’s not the Ritz but it doesn’t pretend to be.8. “The housing on three floors”. Obvious from pictures of the property.Jerome also neglected to mention that there is always a welcome basket with a 1/2 bottle of wine, bread, fruit and when guests stay more than a few days a tin of local pate.The 5 star rating is obviously biased, but indicates the positive reviews of many, many guests.
