We went here solely because it is rated so high (4.7 stars)… and we were just kinda disappointed. Very friendly and quick service, with an interesting menu that cleary changes - good sign. Wine was tasty as well, suited our choice in meal. We ordered a pumpkin veloute to start (not pictured), with the basque burger and duck for mains, and then the crumble for dessert (all pictured).Overall comment is: need to use salt. Everything came under seasoned. Of course they have salt and pepper at the table, but for this star rating we were expecting much more. The fries, especially: not a speck of salt on them!The veloute was quite thick but had nice subtle flavour, especially when some salt was added. Both the burger and the duck were good - the duck was especially cooked very well. Never had caramalised dates as a side to duck, but was amazing!! Kudos to that very good idea. The fries, beyond the salt issue, were more large baked wedges - not crispy at all, which to me is a miss. So too was the courgette side with the duck - reminiscent of moroccan Zaalouk, which i love, but…again… salt! Would have made it so much better!The crumble dessert was interesting. The vanilla cream was more of a heavy pasteC but in an oddly satisfying way. Otherwise flavours were good and especially like that it was not too sweet and fruit still had texture - very nice was to end the meal.So yeah, high expectation but just fell a little short - mainly on the execution of the cooking, with everything else being good. Willing to give a second try, seeing as we went on a quiet night in late January and maybe just had an off night as a result. Will update my post if it is better the second time.

Magnifique expérience au restaurant Patron. Depuis le temps que je suis flexitarien (mange de tout mais de façon raisonnée) ravi de découvrir ce restaurant qui s’en revendique. Permet de satisfaire tout le monde en fonction des envies du moment avec de bons plats et apparemment tous maison et vins sympas + raisonnables !!! Je recommande

Service au top, la dame qui nous a accueilli et servi était au petit soins. Je m'attendais a mieux au niveau des plats qui étaient bons mais pas wow.

Très belle terrasse. Accueil très chaleureux avec un personnel très compétant. Petite carte mais de qualité qui propose du vegan et végé. J’ai été ravie de déjeuner (en retard car même à 15h45, j’ai été servie). Point bonus pour le crumble du patron et le pot choco qui sont excellents.

Très belle découverte pour ce restaurant. La serveuse nous plonge très rapidement dans un cadre convivial et chaleureux. Tout est excellent; de l'entrée au dessert. Mention spécial pour la crème brûlée à la pistache, qui bien que prise par pure gourmandise est passée sans aucune difficulté. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr !

Superbe ! Excellent accueil, service rapide, et les plats sont plein de saveurs : j’ai testé le plat vegan du moment (très belle découverte, des textures et saveurs travaillées) et mon compagnon a pris le burger basque. Les frites sont maison et super bonnes comme le reste. Dessert pot choco fort en chocolat approuvé également !
