We used Karen for our wedding in France in May 2023 and it was the best decision we made! We worked with Karen for over a year in the build up to our big day and she was so organised, helpful and responsive. She often knew what we needed before we did! If you’re getting married in South West France… you need Karen!Karen was so responsive, patient and knowledgable throughout the whole planning experience. Despite having numerous couples, Karen would always make you feel like you were her only clients.Karen listened to what we wanted, created mood boards and created our perfect wedding day.. all from zoom, WhatsApp and emails. I don’t even know how many hours Karen saved us of research, emailing suppliers etc etc.Karen has an extensive network with suppliers and can seem to find anything you want…My wedding day was stress free and chilled.. I just floated around all day chatting to friends and family whilst Karen managed the whole day working tirelessly right up to the end of the night. I didn't have to worry about anything.We genuinely could not have planned a 3 day event in France to the standards Karen did without her!Absolutely recommend! Hands down, the most important wedding purchase we made!

Karen is a fantastic wedding planner. She was always very quick to respond, from initial query to even after the wedding had finished! She had a great selection of suppliers (e.g. Photographers, Videographers and Bands). We’ve just got the photographer’s pictures back and they are amazing! We had regular video call catch ups and she was always willing to do anytime that suited us.As much as Karen was amazing in the pre-wedding planning, she really came into her own when we arrived at the venue. She made sure everything ran smoothly and handled all logistics (even stranded wedding guests!). She made sure my wife and I had nothing on our plate except to enjoy ourselves. We booked Perfect Day by Karen back in 2020. Our wedding was originally in 2021 and she was the first supplier we selected. We booked Karen as our on the day coordinator and from very beginning she instilled both confidence and excitement in us. She was also a great help when we had to move our wedding, helping give suggestions on alternative suppliers and generally going above and beyond.Karen makes sure the day is all about you, what you want and helps advise you on how things would work best with that in mind. She is also on hand with helpful tips on the area and things guests might need to know!We had Hayley and Flavio on the day and they really were the dream team! They were both incredible to work with, couldn't do enough for us and so many of our guests commented on how seamlessly they worked. It's all the little things they do behind the scenes that make the big difference. It decided to rain the morning of our wedding and they quickly came up with a plan and as the bride, i was non the wiser, only realising it had rained when one of the guests told me later!If your questioning if the investment in a wedding planner is worth it, Don't! Karen and her team were beyond amazing and i genuinely cannot thank them enough. They notice all the little things you don't and run your day seamlessly. If anything they should be charging more!We cannot thank the team at Perfect Day by Karen enough and we just wish we could do it all again!!!!

Other than knowing we wanted a destination wedding in the South of France, my husband and I really had no idea of where to begin. Planning a wedding from the other side of a world felt like a logistical nightmare…until we met Karen!Armed with nothing but an extensive Pinterest board, we set in search for a wedding planner that would turn our dream into a reality. After a few initial calls with various wedding planners, we met Karen, and knew she was exactly what we had been searching for. A personable, detail orientated planner who made us feel like we were her only clients.Karen was there for us every step of the way through the year long planning journey. She checked in regularly (being flexible with our 8 hour time difference), responded to messages quickly and kept us on track and organised throughout. From venues to caters to styling, Karen has vast, trusted supplier base which meant we really were spoilt for choice! She understood our vision for styling perfectly and even managed to keep calm when I had a last minute panic and changed all of the flowers just a few weeks before the big day!I honestly found the whole wedding planning process enjoyable. I didn’t once feels stressed and that’s all thanks to Karen. I’m not sure many brides can say that!Finally, the big day arrives! Our wedding weekend was seamless from start to finish. Karen co-ordinated the day perfectly, always thinking of us regardless of how busy she was. The little touches, such as pulling us away so we had 10 minutes to ourselves to take everything in to making sure that our glass was always topped up, meant so much. With Karen taking care of all the logistics on the day, my husband and I could enjoy every moment.We cannot thank Karen and her team enough. As if planning a wedding in the UK isn’t daunting enough… the thought of trying to do this abroad seemed like an impossible task, until we contacted Karen!From the sign up on her website which was simple to do, to our first video conversations just days later we knew straight away that she was the person who’d be able to bring us our perfect day (No pun intended).Trust us to get engaged and try to plan a wedding during a global pandemic with so much uncertainty around travel, vaccinations and day to day life which obviously was a stressful time for everyone… but amazingly Karen shouldered all of the worries that we’d typically feel in such strange times.She planned our wedding day with all the finer details just how we imagined. Managed to liaise with all of our amazing suppliers to help postpone the date by 9 months because of COVID at minimal additional costs and prepared the most amazing pool party for all of our guests the day after we got married.She was not only our wedding planner during this 2 year process but she quickly became our friend and brought to life what we had planned in our heads to a reality.She was there from the minute we checked into our chateaux to the moment we left managing guests, ensuring everything ran smoothly as well as making sure we as bride and groom had the most memorable and stress free few days of our lives.We cannot thank her enough for making our special day the best for us and all of our guests it was a truly magical experience.There was no way we could have done it without her and would recommend anyone looking for a wedding planner in South West of France to get in contact!Ant & Mikki
