An interesting museum on how life used to be and how much the region has changed.There is also an aquarium which displays some of the fish from such a famous lake for being clean.

Per avere un'idea del mondo lacustre. Lo sapevate che esiste l'archeologia subacquea? Il tutto allestito dentro ad una torre del castello medioevale di Annecy. Bella scoperta.

Defintely worth visiting to understand history of the area. This is part of the Chateau museum (so its also closed 12-2). If you try to follow google maps it will put you on some stairs behind the complex - go to the Chateau museum to get in. Its also on the same ticket (you can also get a discount ticket to the island museum at the same time). We went to the Chateau as an afterthought and that was really good too. Glad we did both. The tickets also allow re-entry on the same day to both locations to work around the lunch break.
