Le Grand Quartier hotel

The neighborhood of the hotel is unsafe so I cannot recommend it to other potential guests.I was targeted by organized thieves at the metro station closest to the hotel (Chateau D’eau) at around noon, after I checked into the hotel. 3 men rushed into me and pushed me over as I walked into the metro car, and in the commotion, they lifted my wallet. They timed it perfectly so they stepped out just as the metro doors closed. The whole episode was over in seconds … they must have seen me take my wallet out to buy a metro ticket at the kiosk and followed me from there.I had an AirTag in the wallet and could see the thieves moving around the area on Apple’s “Find My” app. This gang probably operated in this neighborhood exclusively…The hotel staff were helpful - they pointed me to the nearest police station and let me use their phone to call my bank. The financial damage was small (just some cash, that’s all), but the psychological stress dampened my vacation.Do be safe and vigilant when you travel to Paris - only take a small amount of cash with you (if any), maybe one credit card (or just use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch in high traffic areas so you don’t have to take your wallet out). Leave your travel documents locked in the hotel safe if you don’t need it. Buy travel insurance, I learned the hard way!

De passage régulièrement à Paris dans le cadre de déplacements professionnel, j'ai opté pour la 3e fois pour le Grand Quartier, quelle déception.Je me retrouve avec une chambre côté rue pile en face du commissariat, bruyante et avec un énorme vis à vis, alors que mes deux premiers séjours étaient côté cour dans un environnement agréable et calme. Je regrette que vous ne fidélisiez pas les clients en leur proposant des chambres de qualité quand ils viennent plusieurs fois, j'ai eu la pire pour mon 3e passage !Et le pire, étant que je n'ai pas eu d'eau chaude lors de ma 2e soirée, ni le lendemain matin ! Étant venue pour un voyage d'affaire, ne pas pouvoir se doucher le matin est tout bonnement honteux ! J'ai du aller au travail sans pouvoir me laver les cheveux, pour un hôtel 4 étoiles à un prix public de 250€ la nuit, c'est tout bonnement inadmissible.Je ne reviendrais donc plus chez vous, c'est dommage.

Mon adresse quand je me déplace sur Paris : les chambres sont nickels , spacieuses et calmes y compris celles qui donnent sur la rue.Le petit déjeuner est copieux et peut être pris dans le jardin intérieur aux beaux jours.Tout petit bémol sur l’emplacement qui est légèrement excentré par rapport aux principaux sites touristiques.

Le restaurant Le Grand Quartier est vraiment excellent. On y partage des plats surprenants d’une carte élaborée par le chef Wilfried Romain dans une ambiance super conviviale. Nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons également pu goûter une boisson jamais rencontrée ailleurs: un mélange de vin et de bière qui se marie parfaitement avec nos plats. Le personnel est vraiment super sympa et le service rapide et efficace. Merci encore pour cette super expérience, nous recommandons vivement !

Merveilleuse expérience dans cet hotel très bien placé, à la fois central et calme.L'accueil du personnel était adorable, rapide et efficace. Le forfait bébé est un vrai + pour les jeunes parents que nous sommes.Le design de l'hotel et des chambres est très réussi.Merci pour ce séjour parfait !

Great hotel with a decently large sized room and large bathroom. YMMVThe staff were courteous and helpful.Location is great for catching the metro or for taking long distance trains from Gare d’est.The neighborhood feels a tiny bit sketchy in the evenings and there are places that made me walk fast but there is a police station right in front of the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Grand Quartier hotel, and my experience was very disappointing when it comes to noise. On Saturday afternoon, an event took place in the hotel involving the use of a guitar, microphone, and amplifier, which was extremely loud and prevented me from getting proper rest. I was expecting a peaceful environment, but unfortunately, that was not the case.Furthermore, to add to my frustration, on Monday night, a fire alarm went off in the hotel, once again disrupting my sleep and rest. This situation greatly affected the quality of my stay.I was hoping for a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Grand Quartier hotel, but I am disappointed that I couldn't enjoy a peaceful rest during my stay. I hope the hotel takes measures to improve noise management in the future, as it clearly impacts the guest experience.

Hôtel moderne, à la décoration soignée; le personnel est très accueillant et les prestations sont de grande qualité (très beau buffet pour le petit déjeuner; literie au top); un atout à souligner : réelle volonté de faire vivre l'endroit via l'organisation d'événements : concerts en live, ateliers pour les enfants

The staff was so kind and friendly - from the folks at reception to the folks cleaning the rooms to the folks at the cafe - SO lovely! And the common spaces were glorious - big and well decorated spaces both inside and out! The rooms were good and the price was fine, given it is Paris. The location was also great, truly in hte middle of a bunch of different types of neighborhoods. It was great.

The hotel service was great. We booked a room for two people and the room was huge with a nice view to the courtyard. The bed and pillow was comfortable. Only one thing I noticed was the shower pressure was too low… its week. The courtyard and the lobby was cute. Sometimes we woke up early, got some pastries and enjoyed pastries inside the lobby area. The location of the hotel was not the best. It’s near a big train station so a little bit sketchy but I feel safe inside the hotel.

J'ai fais une demande de devis pour 3chambres individuelles avec dîners et petits déjeuners.-Par téléphone on me répond qu'on ne peut que le faire en ligne et que pour 3 il faut réserver en 3fois (en espérant qu'après la 1ere ou 2eme résa il restera encore une place pour la 3eme!!!!)-En ligne je reçois une réponse qu'il faut réserver en ligne! Pas de devis, pas de réservation possible...Bref , je passe mon tour !

Un très bel événement de My Artist Place qui réunit de nombreux artistes et artisans! Une très belle découverte et une idée novatrice dont les hôtels devraient s'inspirer!

Very nice room that matched my expectations. Although there is no fridge in the room, Nespresso coffee and tea are available. My room was on the yard side, nice view on green plants and small threes. I haven't tried the restaurant and the rooftop but are definitely un plus for this hotel. Recommended!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits en famille très sympas dans l'hôtel. Les chambres sont confortables, bien aménagées et spacieuses. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu l'occasion de tester le restaurant mais le buffet du petit déj était parfait !Le grand plus de l'hôtel est son emplacement, proche des différents moyens de transport et surtout de différents commerces de bouche qui permettent de se restaurer facilement sans se ruiner avec une grande diversité.Merci pour l'accueil !La famille HERVET

One of the Best breakfast we’ve seen, warm staff. Very cool neighborhood for a country couple to spend a week!!!! High Tech lighting and state of art showers and controls We Loved it. Extremely reasonable rates and bar prices.. I rarely write reviews , give them a try!
