This place is a scam full stop. Not worth renting a car with them as it is 100% guaranteed you will not be able to pick it up earlier than 2.5 hours after your original booking time. Line does not move at all, understaffed, smelly room. Would rate customer service as terrible, but there isn't any at all. If you ever feel like booking a car with them, donate the money instead to a charitable cause not to this band of thieves.

Had a really good experience hiring a car with Alamo Gare du Nord this weekend. It was a little confusing trying to find the office, but just follow the signs stuck around the station and go through the door and take the lift up to where their office is. We were there at opening time so didn't have to queue as we were nice and early waiting outside. The customer service representative spoke English very well and we were handed an instruction sheet for how to return the car. We took the lift down to the basement parking with the access swipe card we were given, and an extremely friendly representative with excellent English then organised the car with us. We walked around the car together and double checked that all existing damage was logged on his tablet device, then away we went. Only minor point is that the car had not been cleaned properly as the last person's rubbish e.g. empty cans and few things in the glove box had been left behind, and there was also no petrol left in the car as they hadn't had time to fill it up for us, so we had to head straight to a petrol station and pay central Paris prices to fill up right away, but other than that the whole experience was good. Dropping off the car was super quick as we had no new damage, we just returned back to the basement parking, handed over the key and got the lift up into the station. Would definitely hire a car with them again!

Accueil charmant au bureau et au garage. Personnel compétent et agréable mais en sous effectif lors des périodes d’affluence (prévoir d’y être en avance).

Rented an economy car. Purchased online with the additional insurance added on, which stated train station fees and plate fees were included. £250 excess for damage if any occurred. Happy with the rental with good customer service agents.

Première fois que je loue chez Alamo , et premier problème avec un loueur de voiture.Au retour(parking gare du nord), on me reproche une rayure sur le côté arrière gauche , que je suis certains de n avoir pas fait (c etait une location d une journée pour aller d orly à gare du nord...) ils on gardé la caution (300 dollars) et demande en plus 180 dollars ( qu ils n on sans doute pas pu prélevé automatiquement car carte étrangère).En voyant sur internet la multitude de gens escroqué par cette compagnie (le pire à l air d etre en corse), je me dis qu il vaut mieux payer un tout petit peu plus cher et rester sur les compagnies sérieuses comme sixt ou europcar.Pour info si vous rencontrez le même problème, le véhicule était une ford puma noir.

Ne louez surtout pas dans cette entreprise !!!!!!Gros escrocs.Il n’ont pas aimé l’aspect de mon permis de conduire. Refus de location (debut de week-end mariage avec deux enfants et valises).Mais ce n’est pas tout - ils ne m’ont pas donné véhicule mais SURTOUT ILS NE M’ONT MÊME PAS REMBOURSÉ !!!Scandaleux !!!!

Concernant l’agence Gare du Nord : tout s’est parfaitement bien passé. Le personnel a été rapide et aimable à l’aller comme au retour. Le véhicule en parfait état et correspond à la catégorie réservée. Je recommande.

Last week we rented a car via Rentalcars service with Alamo. Added additional full coverage and our renting experience went so good.

Mon ami présente son permis français (rose) en bon état mais la partie 1 est détachée. On lui refuse le véhicule loué sous prétexte qu’on ne peut être sûr que les deux parties proviennent du même permis. Ce que je peux comprendre. Après insistance, le responsable de Gare du Nord nous montre un document de l’agence voisine (Avis) pour se dédouaner.Malheureusement, ce document stipule que l’agence se réserve la possibilité d’accepter ou non un permis détérioré alors que ces messieurs comprennent la seule option qu’ils connaissent : ne pas donner le véhicule !Fermé, borné, ne comprenant même pas le sens des instructions de leur direction. Mon ami se retrouve sans véhicule pour satisfaire l’esprit fermé de ces employés qui causent une perte de chiffre d’affaires pour leur patron et un préjudice pour mon ami.Des employés obtus, sans marge de manœuvre, PERDANTS- PERDANTS.C’est leur entreprise qui perd au change !

The guys scam people. Don’t rent here. No help, pure basic evil people behind the desk.Pre paid and rented a car at Alamo Gare du Nord.Came two hours late (emailed them 3 hrs earlier, no answer). Upon arrival late because the flight, the first guy (Victor Le Verdier, management trainee) lie in front of me and says they rented out my car (pre paid) for 4 min ago. Then his colleague takes over, one of the rudest people I’ve met in service, I ask for his name he shakes his hand and gives me a contact card with a name (also management trainee), when I tell him I want to talk with his supervisor he says he is the supervisor. Then I ask him why he gave me a card which says he is a “Mamagement Trainee” ? Upon he give me the correct card with branch manager, Younes Moussa.In the beginning he tells me that he have no cars left. When I check Alamo’s website for same location and time, apparently they have plenty of same cars in.Then Younes Moussa tells me he can decide if he wants to rent out a car or not if you’re late with 2hr. Kind of funny he don’t want to help even that I show him my email sent earlier in the morning with late arrival.Can’t believe why some people are so stupid, ignorant and rude, especially if you work or are in the service business.Never ever employ this guy, Younes Moussa. He both lies and behave rude.Everything happened at Alamo - Gare Du Nord.Never ever again, and sadly I will never ever hire or rent through Alamo again :(

We hired at Alamo orly and returned the car here. Lucky we took a full insurance. When we returned the car we were blamed about scratches the car already had, and even if they didn’t, they were covered by the insurance. We had a video to show it, I’ve never experience something like this, avoid returning cars here or choose a different company.

I have never been treated this bad in my whole life. When I arrived to pick up my car I was told that they had rented out the car that I had booked. They told me I wouldn’t get a refund and that the only way for me get a car was to make a new booking directly with them right then for an additional cost of 500€. The sellers were extremely rude and threatening and it all ended with me leaving 2h later without a refund of my money and with no car. Younes Moussa was the name of the man in charge and he was so threatening that I felt forced to leave. This situation ended up with me missing a full day of my holiday and that I had to stay in a motel on the road to not have to drive through the whole night. I left feeling completely defeated and that Younes Moussa gets the bad karma he deserves

Des voleurs! Ils profitent de l'option de rendre la voiture à l'heure souhaiter, pour rédiger et mentir sur des dégâts dont nous sommes pas les auteurs. Ils retirent automatiquement un grand montant (approx 2500 euros) de votre carte sans même envoyer les photos, ni le bon numéro de la plaque, et sans même permettre la discussion! Ne leur faite surtout pas confiance!

A éviter, une cycliste m'a percuté pendant ma location et endomagé une portière alors que j'étais à l'arrêt.Malgré mes relances et leur avoir envoyer le constat, je n'ai pas été remboursé pour le moment et le service client ne réponds pas à mes mails...Par contre pour prélever le montant sur mon compte ils sont réactifs, à éviter!

De même, j'avais préalablement réservé et payé une location, et ils ont refusé sur place de me louer un véhicule parce qu'ils ont considéré que mon permis était abîmé. Et ont refusé de me rembourser.Je suis alors allé chez un de leur concurrent sur gare du nord qui a accepté de me louer un véhicule à partir de ce même permis, car valide.Scandaleux ! C'est malhonnête tout simplement
