Cimetière Allemand 14-18 de Wambrechies

There are not many German cemeteries in the region compared to commonwealth ones. This one is very close to the road, and it is worth making the detour. It is quite big, and the graves are very simple (and a bit hard to read the names of the dead soldiers). Despite being close to the road, the place is peaceful and austere, worth a visit for sure.

Beautifully maintained. Horrible to think why it exists.
