You need a day and a Google interactive map to find your way around. There is also a more comprehensive map online that lists people of note, along with where they are located. It can be printed out from the Pere Lachaise website.

It is a simple yet elegant monument that reflects the composer's love for music and Poland. The tomb features a stone pedestal with a bust of Chopin on top, sculpted by Auguste Clésinger. The bust of Chopin portrays him with a contemplative expression, surrounded by a laurel wreath. The pedestal also bears a lyre, a symbol of music, and a plaque with Chopin's name and birth/death dates. The tomb is a place of pilgrimage for lovers of classical music, and it's a serene and reflective spot to pay tribute to the renowned composer.

Free to visit. Chopin is buried there as well as Jim Morrison. It’s quite hilly so bring your walking shoes.
