Poor communication, delays in payment processing (both invoicing and taking payment) accusations (unproven and false) of careless behaviour resulting in damage of their equipment and an all round bad experience with this company.I take no enjoyment in writing such a review this bad for a small business but I feel as though unless people are made aware then they may not make any effort to change for their future customers.When requesting direct email communication we were ignored multiple times, this was the first red flag. When we were finally engaged in email traffic directly, a drawn out saga evolved where I was accused of stating that a guest was seen dancing on one of their tables and damaged it beyond repair. This was a lie. No one danced on their tables and I did not say that they had. A table was found with slightly bent legs upon collection. I agreed that this may incur a cost of repair or worst case replacement. This was agreed. Upon receipt of invoice weeks later, a charge was included for multiple items, glassware crockery, cutlery, repair of a table AND replacement for a second table. Far beyond what I believe to be reasonable and completely inaccurate. Then when discussing these details, my points refuting those made by Fabulous Things were ignored with no care whatsoever or sympathy for their customers point of view.My wife has posted a Google review of our experience. Please think twice before using this company!My husband and I used fabulous things for our hire equipment for our wedding in France. After paying the full hire amount on time weeks before the wedding, we were told literally two days before the big day that they wanted €1000 euros as a holding deposit for all the equipment which we felt was sprung on us very last minute.The actually day itself went fine without any hitches. The next day as the staff were packing up, my husband asked whether there had been any damages. The person packing up said a few broken glasses (which was to be expected) and also showed him one table where one of the legs had been bent out of shape.A week after the wedding suddenly we were sent an invoice for €250 euros stating that one table had had to be fixed and another table was broken beyond repair and they wanted to charge us the full amount for replacement. Also some cutlery was missing.Naturally we were shocked. We repeatedly asked them for evidence, pictures and proof of the damaged table which they never once were able to provide. They tried to say my husband had to told staff one of our guests had been dancing on the tables which was a complete lie. They they backtracked and said no one said this to the staff member. From reading previous reviews on here about the quality of thier equipment to me, it seems more plausible the tables got damaged by the company in transit and or when putting them up and dismantling them.Also charging for missing cutlery seems obscure. I don't think any guests would steal dirty cutlery so it's likely they couldn't be bothered to find them all when packing up the equipment.Essentially we did not want to be left with a bitter taste in our mouths after such a perfect wedding. We offered partial payment of the invoice which the company accepted.Please make sure if you use this company that you go through everything with them at the start and the end. As they will try and charge you for 'damaged equipment without any proof or evidence on thier part.

My wife and I used Jenny and her team for our 40th anniversary celebration on 22 July 2023. It was amazing Everything she pulled together regarding the flowers, lighting, arrangements was perfect! I highly recommend them.

Jen at fabulous things could not have done enough for me. I sent her my vision and price range and she worked her magic. We hired plates glasses and cutlery for two special days one was my partners 30th birthday and the other our wedding day. Also, extra glasses for our bar we had set up. We also rented table clothes, napkins, and chairs. All came on a lorry and was delivered to our venue a day before, so everything was there which was amazing. We also rented fairy lights to decorate our venue they didn’t just drop them off they put them up and they just looked amazing. The service was amazing from start to finish and such good value for money. Without Jen our wedding wouldn’t have been the same all the things we rented were amazing and high standard.

We recently had Jen and her team make magic for my wedding on the 8th July. From the flowers, styling of the venue and the on the day wedding planningJen took our budget and ideas and made an amazing master piece which just kept giving all night. It was certainly the WOW we were after and could not have done it without themThank you thank you thank you

Jenny is a marvel with flowers and her selection of wedding items is amazing. As you can see from the photos, her flowers are truly beautiful. To show her true care to detail, she was unhappy with the first bouquet she made for my daughter so she made another and brought both along for us to have. Both looked wonderful but that’s an indication of her professionalism. We hired tables, chairs, place settings and the most beautiful gold rimmed glasses with gold charger plates (so many guests took photos of the place settings). Everything, apart from the flowers, was delivered the day before and the barn fairy lights were up and ready too. This makes for a much less stressful time as it’s always a worry as to whether suppliers will turn up. My only, very slight, criticism would be about communication as, until a month before the wedding, we didn’t hear much. But maybe a lesson for me was to be a bit more chilled and, with the date booked and the deposit paid, why did I worry?! I’d highly recommend Fabulous Things - their supplies helped make a magical wedding.

We recently had a wedding at La Cannonerie in France (July 16th 2022). We thought that the flowers were amazing. Jen saw my wife's vision perfectly and the colours were so vibrant. Jen communicated with us well and we received exactly what we wanted. The delivery and collection process was seemless. We hardly even knew they were at the venue setting up. Thank you for your help :o)**Just a quick point of note** - I have just read the previous reviews and it appears a lot of the negative ones are from one wedding. This is of course sad to read, but it truly did not reflect the service we personally received. We were very happy indeed.

My husband and I used Jenny and her team for our wedding in May 2023. She supplied all of the flowers and all the rentals (tent, lighting, chairs, tables, table settings, etc.). I have posted photos from the wedding because she did such an amazing job you have to see it to believe it. Fabulous Things went absolutely above and beyond our expectations. Everything was PERFECT, not a flower out of place, and Jenny went out of her way to make it this way (sometimes providing little extra details we didn't even think to ask for just because she had some extra flowers and cares that much about her couples she works for)! All of my guests were snapping photos of the table settings and flowers and pulling us aside to tell us what a spectacular job she did. And the best part was it required so little effort on our part, I just gave her a few inspo photos and she made it come to life! Most importantly, everything was very reasonably priced and within budget. Honestly, I'm amazed how far our flower and rentals budget went; we were able to afford much more than we even dreamed. We want to thank this team for all they did for us and all their hard work!

Jen and her team were absolutely AMAZING.My partner and I gave them a budget and visuals of what we had in mind for our wedding day and saying they over delivered is an under statement.The flowers and decorations were absolutely perfect and to top it all they were absolutely lovely to work with.Could not recommend them more.Thank you again for making the day magical!!
