Depuis sa réfection et l'arrivée du tramway, cette gare est beaucoup plus intéressante et conviviale. Le passage de la place Michel Péricard à la gare est bien agencé et sort du triste souterrain d'antan. Les quais sont propres. La signalétique est soignée.
