I would like to say thank you to Hugo about this private wine tour. I booked with one of my colleagues, we were happy and satisfied that we could discovered and experience the beaujolais wine and fine dining. Very knowleadgeble time. Bravo Hugo!

My mother and I had a truly wonderful experience at our wine tasting! Hugo was very welcoming and we learned so much. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and educational wine tasting in Lyon!

Hugo was very knowledgeable and provided a delicious selection of high quality charcuterie to pair with a variety of wines. It was a great combination of learning and enjoyment. The class took place in a cute female owned fromagerie where both business owners had gone to cheese school. I would recommend this to anyone interested in wine and cheese. Worth the price for the quality!

Our Beaujolais tasting experience with Hugo was truly fantastic, absolutely the highlight of our time in France. Hugo was incredibly thoughtful and customized the trip to our preferences, even going out of his way to find new-to-him wineries based on our request. His incredible wine knowledge and down to earth approach made for a really great day. I can’t recommend Hugo strongly enough, you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful time learning about cheese pairings with wonderful wine. Hugo’s knowledge is excellent and he is very friendly and fun! We learned so much!! We can’t wait to return and sign up for the same activity! A++!!!

We didn't really have any particular expectations, just to spend a pleasant day to discover the Beaujolais vineyard.Hugo proposed us to discover 4 different types of vineyard structures, here is the order of the day :Departure from Lyon early in the morning and first tasting that Hugo described to us as authentic and traditional: classic Beaujolais vinification in the Fleurie AOC with the winemaker.We then went to a larger domain in another appellation but still a family domain where the grandmother welcomed us.Then we went to the gastronomic restaurant... it was delicious, a wonderful moment.Early afternoon with a meeting of a winemaker who works in biodynamy and who does not add sulfite to his wines that we consider as natural".End of the day at a wine merchant who had a large range of wines - it was less charming than the domains we met before but we could taste 12 different wines from all the Beaujolais appellations and it was very good.A great day out and one of the best wine experiences I've had;"

Hugo was a wonderful host, we had 1 full day tour of chateauneuf du pape and 2 half day tours of the Rhone and Beaujolais regions.Hugo's expertise in these areas was wonderful and his selections of vineyards / restaurants first class.I have no hesitation in recommending Hugo as a host for your next wine tour in Lyon.

One more positive review for this unique experience. Nestled in a charming place, we were able to taste more than 8 wines and discover succulent cheeses.It is very interesting to be able to taste a wine with a defect as well as a wine of more than 30 years of age, it was a pinot of burgundy 1994 which was served to the tasting. We were 6 during this very good moment that we all appreciated. Perfect, you will not be disappointed.
