Le Belgrand Hotel Paris Champs Elysées, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Unless you are on the thin and smaller side and/or traveling by yourself, I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel. Even then, I’d probably tell you to find somewhere else to stay in Paris. For starters, the rooms are small. Online, they seemed to be of a decent size but I later realized it was due to all of the floor to ceiling mirrors in there. The room I stayed in had a narrow spiral staircase which was quite tricky to navigate, even as an able bodied person. It was so narrow that I couldn’t even get my suitcase up to the second level where I slept. I stayed with two other people and as you can imagine, the room felt even more cramped. The elevator is big enough for 2 people and placed in a very unexpected and hazardous location—on the stair of a spiral staircase. If you aren’t careful, it’s easy to trip and fall down the stairs, which I’m willing to bet has already happened to someone staying there.I will say that the staff was excellent and made my 5 day stay somewhat bearable. When we first checked in, we received a complimentary cocktail made by Isabela and Margarita gave us great recommendations for restaurants nearby. There were other staff members who helped us during our stay but blanking on their names. The location of the hotel was great — just a ~10 minute ride from attractions like the Eiffel Tower, the Lourve, and the Arc de Triomphe. There are also restaurants within walking distance which helps as the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant attached to it and only offers breakfast (not complimentary).Overall, I don’t think I’d recommend staying at this hotel unless you are okay with staying in tight and dangerous quarters.

The room; especially the bathroom is exceptionally small! If you are from the USA and used to hotel rooms with the desk, comfortable chair, dresser, armoire, etc, then this is going to be interesting for you. The bed was comfortable, and the lobby area was very eclectic and cozy.

Chambres petites. Surtout pour le prix. Pas de possibilité de travailler (pas de table dans la chambre (j'avais une deluxe) ). En dehors de l'emplacement, hotel pas vraiment à recommander. Pas digne du service hilton. Dommage.

I loved my stay at Le Belgrand. The hotel was beautiful and had a distinctly Parisian vibe. Breakfast was delicious, and the location made it easy to get to major attractions. Lots of great restaurants nearby. My only complaint was a tiny shower stall in the bathroom that was tricky to maneuver. I highly recommend this location for your future visits to Paris.

Would not recommend it. The lobby and check in area were cramped, only allowing one person at a time to check in at the reception desk. We were assigned a Superior Queen room. To reach the elevator, I maneuvered our two bags through an interior courtyard to an elevator that barely accommodated one bag and myself and carried me to the first floor which is really the first floor and a half, between floors one and two, and required maneuvering down an ancient spiral staircase to the first floor. Opening the door to our room, we could barely enter the room with our luggage as it was so small, 139 square feet, per their website, if you include the dimensions of the miniscule bathroom. Neither of us could walk around in the room at the same time. A stone wall décor protruded four inches into the room in front of the queen bed and required careful navigation as the distance from the wall to the end of the bed was ten inches. The room was stifling hot, as the weather in Paris during our stay was mid to high 90°. We were unable to adjust the antiquated thermostat in the room to turn on the air conditioning. We had called Le Belgrand before making reservations to confirm the hotel and the rooms were air conditioned and were told explicitly that the hotel and the rooms were air conditioned. When we notified the front desk that we could not adjust the room’s temperature, the receptionist stated guests could not change the room temperature and the hotel controlled the entire temperature for the rooms and the hotel’s public areas at 71° all the time. Ultimately, the hotel sent up a desk fan which just redistributed hot air. Unfortunately, during our entire three-night stay, the room remained uncomfortably hot, even with the fan. As a side note, all day and into the evening Le Belgrand keeps their doors open to the interior open-air courtyard and to the street exit and thus the hotel public areas, lobby, sitting and eating areas, and hallways are at the ambient temperature of the city which was mid to high 90° during the day and mid 70s in the evening. Our room was constantly warm enough for our entire stay to cause us to swelter when in the room, even with the fan.We could barely open both suitcases at the same time to access our belongings. The room did not have a desk or chair, just a tiny table with a coffee maker and a diminutive stool. The restroom tiny, and the toilet was catty-corner in the bathroom, so one must sit sideways on the commode. The shower stall door would not close completely when we showered unless held open with a hand or foot. Each morning we carefully navigated walking into the hotel’s lobby and eating area between 7:00 and 8:00 AM as a housekeeper was washing the open-air courtyard terrazzo floor and outdoor furniture. The bottom-line: the Le Belgrand Hotel Paris Champs Elysees is an old hotel, euphemistically referred to as “boutique”, minimally renovated, and branded by Hilton as a part of their Tapestry Collection that, in our opinion and experience, falls short of meeting basic Hilton standards of quality and comfort my wife and I have experienced over the decades with all the Hilton brands. Our three-day stay in Paris, a highly anticipated first-time event, was negatively impacted by the miserable Le Belgrand accommodations.

Cute Parisian hotel in the heart of Paris. Generally good service with nice welcoming staff. Room is tastefully decorated but rather cramped and has some water damages. Also constant buzzing noise can be heard throughout the day.

The rooms are very small as commented but they are are in major need of a deep clean, much of bathroom was not well kept and the bedskirt in my room had a dark stain around the edge.I also had a buzzing noise going on in my room and the TV came on twice in the night randomly waking me up.On positive side the hotel staff are extremely friendly and attentive.Overall ownership needs to sink some money into this place to improve and keep up to standards.

Wonderful staff, cute lobby/courtyard.. but taking a star off for the rooms. Our bathroom wasn’t quite up to par.People have commented about the rooms being small! Ours was too, especially traveling with multiple bags on our long Europe trip. But we knew the rooms were small before booking!

Very expensive for what it is. The rooms are *tiny* - just about room for a standard double bed and that's it - you have to squeeze round the edges. Furniture is mismatched and the paint is peeling. Don't drop anything in the shower as there isn't space to bend down to pick it up! Location is OK - close to Arc de Triomphe but quite a way from other tourist areas.

We usually stay at Hiltons when we travel and this one was the worst. The location was great. However when we arrived the alarm was going off in the hotel. We had to drag our luggage up the narrow stairs to our floor. Then had to leave because the noise was horrible. The bed was like sleeping on mattress springs alone. There was no padding. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling above the shower and there was paint peeling. The day we checked out the elevator was not working so we had to drag our luggage back down the narrow stairs. I would not recommend this particular hotel to stay at.
