We stopped off here to buy some champagne while on a bicycle tour around Epernay. It is such a lovely, welcoming, family run business. Joëlle was so accommodating, showing us around the winery and explaining the process to us. She let us try a variety of their champagnes and we stocked up because it was just delicious! She introduced us to her daughter Pauline who is taking over the family business and we think it’ll be in safe hands! Thank you so much Hennequin family!!

Een van mijn favorieten! Geen marketing en toeristisch populair gedoe. Gewoon een eerlijke champagne tegen een mooie prijs van een kleine champagne boer. Eigenaren zijn erg aardig en nemen de tijd je alles over het proces te vertellen.De brut tradition, brut nature en rosé champagne zijn erg lekker en aan te raden.

We visited Champagne B. Hennequin after a tip from friends and had a wonderful time. Joëlle received and told us about their champagne making process. Had a great experience with Joelle- we got to see the end to end process for making champagne, learn about the family's history and plans for the company and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Joelle was also patient with our 2 year old group member and was all very easy with buggy (just bring a jumpet as cellar is cold). We had a great tasting and came away with 2 very good value cases- totally different experience to the big champagne house tours but really worth it- and easy drive from Epernauy.

Nous avons été extrèmement bien reçu par la famille Hennequin. La visite du domaine est passionnante et permet de comprendre en détail les différentes étapes de la fabrication du champagne.C'est un réel plaisir d'aller à la rencontrer d'une famille de passionnés où le savoir-faire se transmet de générations en générations.Et bien sûr le champagne est délicieux :)
