Very kind waitress and staff, definitely a local establishment, nice ambiance, pretty solid food but nothing incredible or fancy. Definitely aimed at the French palette, no spice, not too much salt, really allows the quality of the ingredients to shine through.

Amazing place! Not for tourists... we went when the Beaujolais festival was. They stayed open well past closing time. It was a lot of fun and of course incredible wine.

La brasserie Chaizelle est un endroit correct pour déjeuner. Les plats proposés sont bons et le rapport qualité-prix est intéressant, mais la formule pour les plats du midi est assez limitée en termes de choix. Si vous cherchez un déjeuner simple et sans prétention, la brasserie Chaizelle pourrait être un choix à considérer.

Our family stayed at a short-term rental for a week and thoroughly this neighborhood gem. We had breakfast and dinner there on several occasions. The staff are warm and friendly and food is good. We enjoyed the croissants and café crème in the morning as well as the steak frites and salmon for dinner. Mr. Paco was especially friendly and warm. Recommend highly.
