Glatigny Farmhouse

We stayed at Glatigny Farmhouse for 3 nights in October, and had a wonderful time. We initially thought that it might be a bit cold in a stone building in October, but with the underfloor heating everything was snug and warm. The house has been beautifully restored, with many small touches that make it unique and occasionally quirky. It was great to stay in October, but we can see that it would be even better in the summer, as they provided bicycles which could be used to ride the short distance to the beach, as well as a table tennis table and pool table which could be set up in the garden. The beach, which was very close by, was one long wide stretch of sand disappearing off into the distance. We would definitely love to come again.

We stayed at Glatigny Farmhouse for a week and we absolutely loved it! The farmhouse is beautiful, cosy and really well equipped and the surrounding areas are beautiful, especially the beaches! The perfect stay for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. I can’t think of any negatives for this holiday home or location. The bikes and pizza oven are a great addition to the property and means we can cycle around the quaint villages and beaches and come home for a scrummy pizza, sipping fabulous French Wine in the generous garden of the property. A perfect holiday! We’ll be returning soon for sure!!

My husband, myself and our little 1 year old have hugely enjoyed our week stay at the Galtigny farmhouse. It is gorgeous, a beautiful restoration and a perfect getaway spot. Lovely decoration, attention to detail and really well equipped. The nearby beaches are just amazing, the towns are easy to get to and the farmhouse provides a wonderful base to explore. The BBQ and fire pit are fantastic, we spent numerous evenings outside staring up at the stars, never seen skies quite like it! Thanks to Sam and Francesca for being such welcoming and informative hosts and a special thank you for helping us retrieve our baby monitor which we stupidly left too - above and beyond customer support!

Superbe endroit

We spent a week at the Glatigny Farmhouse. The house is adorable and the guests were very friendly and easy to do business with. If you stay here, make sure to look through the book on the renovation - it was truly a work of love. The house is very well-furnished and so comfortable, and the hosts have taken time to write up a lot of useful information about the house, things to do, and local recommendations. The village is quiet and restful, and it's a walkable distance to the English Channel (Le Manche if you're French!). We were very sad to leave and would love to come stay here again.

The character of the house was amazing. We love it so much. The kids got good space to run around and activities to keep them busy.

Ce bien est décrit comme un gite de luxe, nous n avons sans doute pas la même définition du luxe. Il s agit plutôt d'une maison de campagne. Nous avons séjourné pendant 1 semaine et avons dû cohabiter avec des araignées et des toiles d'araignées partout.Attention, il y a bien un jardin, un four à pizza etc.. mais de l autre côté de la rue ! Ils ne sont pas accolé à la maison.Dans la description il est précisé qu il y a 2 cours, effectivement il y en a 1 qui permet l entrée à la maison ( Attention aux crottes d animaux par terre) et la seconde cour est un endroit ou sont entreposés les poubelles.Les canapés sont peu confortable surtout le vert.Le mobilier de jardin n était pas mis à disposition.Pas de connexion internet dans la location ni de réseau téléphonique. Nous avons du sortir tous les jours pour capter du réseau et être joignable. Selon les propriétaires il s agit d un problème de leur opérateur ils ont tenté une solution qui n'a pas fonctionné. Cela nous a fortement pénalisé pendant le séjour et autant nous n'avons eu aucun geste commercial.La maison est agréable si la cohabitation avec les araignées ne nous dérange pas. Elle est bien équipée et proche de la mer. Cest son principal atout.

I visited the house with my family, the 6 of us were utterly bowled over by the beautiful home that greeted us. It is the perfect spot. We used the house bikes and cycled to the beach everyday, at night we bbq'd under the stars before falling asleep in the most comfortable beds. The house is gorgeous. The attention to detail is exceptional. We could not have asked for more
