Ski Beyond - Lessons in Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets

Our kids loved Helenas fun approach to learning to ski and grew in confidence as the week progressed. My wife and I had a lesson with Ricey who gave us some great pointers to help us ski at a better level. Would highly recommend the Ski Beyond team.

We had a brilliant lesson today with Helena. We are fairly experienced skiers who wanted to tweak technique at the start of the week to make the holiday more enjoyable. Helena pinpointed and worked on just a couple of things to hugely improve our skiing in just a couple of hours! Friendly and fun, she pushed us just enough and we even got off piste in the powder! Absolutely recommend!

After breaking my leg skiing a few years ago and having had a few mixed experiences with ski schools since, I booked three private lessons with Ski Beyond to try and get my confidence back up and to get me back on the slopes. I am so glad that I chose Ski Beyond. Ricey was an amazing instructor who was exceptionally patient and had a holistic approach to the lessons - he understood my anxiety around skiing due to a previous injury and helped with the psychological as well as physical stuff, which really helped me to improve quickly.In the lessons he gave me simple and memorable techniques to follow and then demonstrated them so I could understand how it all related. I quickly felt more confident on the slopes and started to actually enjoy skiing again - which was the aim! And all supported by a good sense of humour, patience and kindness from Ricey - not something you see from every instructor!I never expected to make the progress I did in a few hours - even by the end of the first lesson I felt much more in control and confident. My husband, who is a good skier, was surprised how much my technique and confidence had improved in such a short space of time. Hands down the best skiing lessons I’ve had! Thank you Ricey!

Having had a pair of private lessons with Ricey and another with Amy at the start of 2020 in the Morzine/Les Gets area, I really can't rate them highly enough - easily the best ski lessons and instructors I've had, resulting in my most enjoyable week of skiing yet.Their relaxed and friendly approach combined with their clear depth of experience and willingness to geek out on skiing technique with me really helped push my skiing along and explore into new areas of the mountains much sooner than I had expected.I'll definitely plan to link up with Ski Beyond next time I'm in the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone heading over there.

We had a fantastic three days of lessons with Helena. All of us improved our skiing and even more importantly had great fun. Helena was great with the children and was patient with us adults! We will be booking Helena again next season. Looking forward to it already.

We hired Ricey for a morning of off piste adventure and were so glad we did. 5 of us with varying experience had an amazing time. Ricey is really nice, and a really great teacher, calm and clear in instructions, with some great visualisation teaching techniques - ask him about the 'pea and ham' :-)He is also a superb photographer, taking loads of really great snaps for us. He helped us find some of the best powder and stunning views with fresh tracks. Superb value for money. We'll be back for sure.

I found Ricey of Ski Beyond Morzine a great instructor. After years of skiing and plateauing I booked three days of private lessons. Ricey immediately saw my bad practices and with simple guidance gave clear steps to follow with four or five tweaks I got back the enjoyment you get when you feel in control and confident going down the slopes. Can’t praise him enough. My wife had lessons with Helena who was equally wonderful can’t praise highly enough - will be back.

From start to finish our experience with Ricey from SkiBeyond was excellent. Within a matter of hours he gave us the skills and tools to go from having never skied before to confidently going down blue and even some red runs! In addition to the physical techniques, he gave us great actionable advice for when we get nervous on the runs which we were able to implement on our own following our lessons which meant we could tackle some tricky blue runs on our own. We couldn’t have asked for anything else from a ski instructor, thank you so much Ricey!!

Just back from a fantastic holiday in Avoriaz and made even better by our lessons with Helena and Ricey. They had the perfect balance of being very technical when needed but also loads of fun and improved everyone’s skiing level. Would highly recommend and we’ll be back!
