Hôtel Crayon Rouge

First room didn't have a working shower - I don't begrudge issues that aren't predictable. But to be told that a shower that doesn't run warm is just my fault for using it incorrectly is crazy!Moved to a different room with some arguing, shower funnily DID work in this room despite my apparent inability to operate taps.Rooms are small, even for Paris standards but was clean and L'occitane toiletries welcome. Only flat surface was a slanted desk: less welcome!Sadly, went from bad to worse as we were woken at 4am with a fire alarm (again, I don't hold this against them), but what I DO, is that there were no staff in the building, merely a poster on the reception to call a number if there were issues. Me calling him was the first he heard of the fire alarm being activated in the building and he casually wandered over 10 mins later as all guests were outside.No apology given. On checkout the following morning, reception couldn't even be bothered to apologise.I believe a standard for a 4 star hotel is 24/7 manned reception. Miserable stay.

A great location, close to everything but on a quiet street so you aren’t kept up at night! Also right beside a street with lots of food and take away options. Great location overall. The rooms are lovely! Ours was so spacious, but we did a small upgrade. Only 2 rooms on our floor, lots of privacy! Front desk is helpful and welcoming. Accommodated our request for an early check in after a long flight. Would highly recommend this quiet boutique option!

Emplacement exceptionnel au cœur du centre de Paris. Le Louvre à un jet de pierre. Savant mélange d authentique et de branché, un peu comme à la maison. Toutes les attentions pour un accueil personnalisé dans un cadre humain et confortable.

This is a beautiful, cozy, clean, colourful and elegant small boutique hotel. Location is very central (less than 10 minutes walk to the Louvre), quiet and charming neighbourhood.Didier and his team made my short stay quite beautiful, he is very friendly and professional and helpful in any way he can. Breakfast is served so beautifully and offers a careful variety.Room is somehow small but it’s central Paris, very clean, comfortable bed and elegant toiletries

Accueil chaleureux. Personnel à l'écoute de vos demandes. Chambre, linge de lit et de toilette impeccable. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. L'hôtel est idéalement placé pour circuler dans Paris. Je le recommande.

Merveilleux hôtel!Ludique pour nos Bambins, confortable et élégant pour leurs parents.Idéalement situé.Mais le vrai « plus », c’est la qualité du service. Le sourire, la disponibilité, les petites attentions !Et ça, à Paris, à ce point-là, je ne l’ai jamais vécu!Merci l’Hotel Crayon Rouge.

A nice boutique option while staying in Paris. Convenient to the Louvre museum and associated train stations. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.Rooms are small as expected in Paris but a nice choice regardless.Our only issue was the protests that caused several streets to be blocked and the train station to be closed. Not the hotels fault, but keep in mind this is a popular area for tourists (although the actual street of the hotel is very quiet).

Au delà d'un emplacement idéal au plus près du Louvre, de Beaubourg, des quais de Seine, un hôtel très agréable. La chambre insolite n'est pas très grande mais tout est fait pour que l'on y soit bien : la déco déjà, hyper bien pensée et la qualité de la literie. Pas de bruit.La gentillesse de l'accueil, le petit déjeuner tout est fait pour que l'on passe un bon moment.

Un véritable coup de coeur ! Nous avons reservé la Suite Neo retro avec le jaccuzzi ultra spacieux ! Une parenthèse enchantée, un veritable petit cocon en plein coeur de Paris a 2 pas de la rue de Rivoli. La deco est juste sublime, les couleurs, le mobilier, la propreté apporté a la chambre, tout était parfait.Gros coup de coeur pour le lustre au dessus du lit :)Un parfum d ambiance dès notre arrivée nous a plongés tout de suite dans l ambiance délicate de cette Suite ! Bravo a toute l équipe de cet hotel. Nous reviendrons c est certain ! Le + : tarif defiant toute concurrence pour la qualité de ses services !

Great location, walkable to many places, and near lots of restaurant options. The staff was welcoming and very nice. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and the breakfast was a good selection. The location to the Louvre was perfect; close enough to easily walk, but also a couple blocks away so it is quiet to sleep at night. There are also plenty of restaurants and wine bars within easy walking distance. Very very walkable to grocery store, shops, metro/bus, etc.
