Loire Valley Bird House (Gîte)
We had a wonderful time staying here this summer, we wanted a peaceful countryside break and staying at Kate and Mark's place was literally perfect. The guest house is newly renovated (while maintaining the historic look), beautifully decorated and fully autonomous, with access to their stunning garden to relax in. Our two year old also loved the garden! Kate and Mark are delightful, always available for a friendly chat or advice on sightseeing and local places to visit. Finally, the area is full of great places to visit - the different chateaux in the area are incredible! We were very sad to leave!

Loire Valley Bird House (Gîte)
For our birding trip booked this very nice, authentic and charming stay. The hosting family made us feel very welcoming and the gorgeous garden is everything. The accommodation is clean, cozy and as a guest you will have every chance to spot countless birds in the direct area. The singing nightingales in the garden are amazing. Thank you so much Kate for your lovely humor, care and time spend with us!

“This proved the perfect layover as we wended our way through France. A real Oasis. The accommodation’s so homely and hosts so charming that we left reluctantly and are now in a hurry to return! The garden is a lovely place to wander or hide away and you can’t help wishing we cared for the rest of the planet by the same philosophy. Nous reviendrons!”
