DON'T RENT A VEHICLE HERE. We were handed a brand new motorhome, with a broken toilet, and we had to stop at another McRent location (McRent Barcelona, everyone here was very helpful and understanding) in order to buy another one to continue our trip. Then we were told here our money would be reimbursed and it NEVER was. We also received the worst of help, Pauline specifically, seemed extremely bothered when we asked questions or when we needed documentation to the point she stopped replying to our emails and we had to contact Motorvana in order to get the help we needed. They get very visibly upset at tourists, literally rolling your eyes at you or behind your back (why do you even work at a rental vehicle company that is known for having tourists?) and do very little to help you. HORRIBLE LOCATION. Rent anywhere else but here, especially if you aren't French, every other McRent location we visited seemed to have nicer staff. We got the help we needed from anywhere else but this rude people.

A total rip off. Unfriendly staff denying us basic consumer rights for a refund on a rental we had to prepay but that we couldn't get because of the COVID19 pandemic as the border to Spain were closed.Depsite arguing that we are entitled to a refund the Mcrent company continued to discard our request which meant that they are trying to charge us $3000 (€2000) as a cancellation fee which is totally ludicrous.We are now taking the matter to the consumer affairs and will go to court if needed but I am totally gobsmacked at the total disregard this company has towards their customers.Will away whilst you can. They are crooked thieves.
