Had such an amazing time staying here with my friends. Hosts are amazing and very attentive. The place is beautiful. Such a nice relaxing getaway. Highly recommend it. Can't wait to visit again

The location is perfect for exploring this fascinating area of the country and a really easy journey from the airport.The gîte itself is beautifully designed and furnished. There's a very pleasing mix of antique and contemporary furniture and décor. Masses of lounging space, a supremely comfy bed, a really decent kitchen and a terrace and bbq for al fresco cooking and dining make for a very special experience.The grounds and gardens are gorgeous: fragrant, colourful and informal (and the free range hounds are divine, too ❤️) The pool is fabulous and beautifully romantic.Thank you both for a wonderful stay and for your warm hospitality. I'm slightly disappointed I wasn't able to smuggle Marge home with me. But we will definitely be back for a second attempt!

This is our 3rd year staying here. It is so beautiful, tranquil and so welcoming.It is in a fantastic location and easily accessible by air or car. We have done both, but this year we drove and spent time enjoying the area. We visited the beautiful Carcassonne, enjoyed some fantastic local walks (Canal Du Midi in so close and a delight)! And enjoyed a coffee and a croissant in the lovely square in Limoux.The hosts, Richard and Marvin are amazing and can not do enough for you. They have extensive knowledge of the area and there is some excellent info in the gite, but they are also on hand for any advice.The gite and grounds themselves are just superb! The gites are full of character and sympathetically restored, but with sublime luxury touches with bed linen/towels, kitchen appliances etc. There is also free wifi which is always so important for those teens...The grounds and pool are literally stunning! The care and maintenance of the grounds keeps it looking so beautiful. And the walled pool and area around it has to be one of the best I have ever seen. It is one of the reasons we keep returning! There is so much still to see, but it is so hard to drag ourselves away from the pool that we have to keep returning to see more (and sit by that pool)!We enjoy time there with both our teenage boys and with friends. Our boys love it, and that is really high praise if your teenage sons say they want to return.We will be returning again and again I am sure.Thanks again to Richard and Marvin for another super stay

The warm welcome from all was an indication of just how fabulous our stay would be - we loved our time here, far too short but perfect for a taste of what the gites and the surrounding area have to offer - so much to explore, and such a wonderful base to come back to each day as well - perfect!

We had an amazing stay with Richard, Marvin and their cute little dachshund Toby. We loved the calm surroundings, the beautiful swimming pool, and our very well decorated and spacious house. We also particularly appreciated the private BBQ equipment that comes with every room. Great memories of summer 2020 in la douce France. Thanks guys!

If you want to relax and unwind - this is a stunning place to do it. Surrounded by many beautiful hills and villages with the Pyrenees as your backdrop, there's hiking and biking routes right through the village. If you really want to take it easy, the hosts who are entertaining and welcoming can even prepare some great meals for you.

We had a wonderful stay at Richard and Marvin’s. The gardens are beautiful, the pool perfect and the gite supplied with everything we needed - even the added touch of some welcome food and wine supplies. A fantastic few days resting and exploring the beauty of the local area. Highly recommended!

Second visit here with owners & hosts Richard & Marvin it’s simply a lovely place to stay with a warm welcome along with incredible accommodations several gites 3 bed room 4 bedroom & a an incredible 1 bedroom that can easily sleep 3 all self contained.Welcome wine some bread & cheese is a fine way to start your stay before you go out & stock your kitchen.A breath taking pool within beautiful gardens.Don’t miss out a visit to this little slice of paradise!

We are a family of 4 (w/2 toddlers) who spent a week at 371@ Mas de la Prade in the 2 bedroom gite. I can't say enough good things about this place. The gite was super spacious and sparkling clean, the gardens & grounds are gorgeous and the swimming pool was just perfect. Richard and Marvin went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Ideally located within 20 minutes from a number of beautiful towns like Carcassone, Mirapoix and Castelnaudary (don't get me started on the cassoulet). Our boys spent the week catching butterflies, small lizards and jumping in the pool. Our perfect little French getaway - we'll be back.
