I've been dealing with ALPAO since 2009. The company offers advanced Adaptive Optics (AO) components, such as large-stroke Deformable Mirrors and Wavefront Sensors, as well as turn-key AO solutions with drivers and software support. ALPAO customer support is very good and friendly too.

Good value for moneyOperating ALPAO DMs has worked out fine in our AO prototypes for SGL applications. The DMs are compact and provide large stroke at low control voltages. The new Gbit Ethernet interface option has been the right way to go for.Shared ideas to improve have been taken up at ALPAO on their own, coming up today with high power coated DMs for even multi-spectral range in lasercom, allowing for multi-100 Gbps FSO uplinks toward space at both, 1064nm and 1550nm bands.
