I stayed with Christine Franc Todd for 7 days early this month (September 2022) and would highly recommend you doing the same! I had a lovely room and bathroom, was fed amazing home made food every day, and over the course of 7 days Christine took me on a tour of Moelan sur mer and all of the lovely historic towns in the area. Christine is so friendly and welcoming that it felt like staying with a friend.In addition to the above, I learned some new cooking skills, including making crepes. I also had French lessons, and alot of opportunity to practice my French in social and every day situations with Christine backing me up if needed. If there were any words I struggled with while we were out, Christine covered them with me when we returned home. The woman has the patience of a saint. My French is more in the beginning stage, and Christine was able to adapt. I will definitely go back again in the future. Thank you for the lovely stay Christine!!

Séjour très agréable et fructueux pour notre fille de 15 ans et demi qui est revenue enchantée !!! Elle a été accueillie très chaleureusement et a pu découvrir de très beaux endroits à proximité comme Pont-Aven ou Quimper. L'enseignement a été de très grande qualité et parfaitement adapté au niveau de notre fille. Elle a pu réviser des points de langue et corriger certaines erreurs qu'elle avait coutume de faire. Christine et son amie anglaise qui séjournait également chez elle durant cette semaine ont été très investies et ont partagé avec notre fille de nombreuses activités ludiques, dont des ateliers cuisine ! Au total, c'est un séjour doublement réussi, qui a permis à notre fille de progresser en anglais et en cuisine !!! Thanks a lot !

I spent a wonderful week chez Christine in April. Good food, good wine, good company, interesting visits. Christine, as a native of Brittany, is a fantastic guide to this gorgeous area of France. I learned to shuck oysters and enjoyed them with lovely champagne in her beautiful garden. We had a fun crèpes evening with friends. Christine showed me many off-the-beaten path places of interest. I love Brittany and can't wait to go back!

J'ai passé un merveilleux moment avec Christine la maîtresse de ce lieu, dont l'accueil et les mille et une intentions qu'elle vous prodigue, vous font paraître trop court votre séjour. Nous nous sommes baladés sur le GR34 dans un cadre idyllique.Christine vous fait découvrir la région, concocter de merveilleux petits plats, avec des produits frais et locaux dans une ambiance conviviale et ludique, tous cela en anglais bien évidemment.Il faut y aller pour vivre cette expérience magnifique.Un grand merci.

What better way to experience a culture than by immersing yourself for a week or more? Christine’s home is cozy and welcoming and we spent many nights on her deck overlooking her spacious garden. As a chef, Cooking with Words with Christine Todd allowed me to experience and enjoy local foods, farmers markets, charming villages, and the fabulous shellfish of Brittany. My 4 years of high school French came in handy as well as Christine’s linguistic guidance.

Christine est un excellent professeur, à l'écoute de ses élèves. Elle a redonné à mon fils de 17 ans le goût de l'anglais. Durant les 5 jours d'immersion, il a travaillé la compréhension, l'oral, l'écrit lors d'activités ludiques, culturels, sportives. Les leçons de grammaire anglaise lui ont été très profitables. Il a tellement apprécié son séjour qu'il a souhaité revenir l'année suivante. Merci à Christine pour son accueil, sa bienveillance et son efficacité !

Great weekend ! Very warm atmosphere. Caring and demanding teacher. Excellent wine and food pairing. We will repeat the experience.
