Centre Méditerranéen d'Études Françaises (CMEF)

Cela fait plusieurs années que nous collaborons avec le CMEF et nous en sommes totalement satisfaits. Nous ne recevons que des retours positifs de la part des familles. Qualité des cours et des activités c'est le duo parfait pour un séjour réussi.

Magnifique endroit à la côte d'azur! Dans ce cadre verdoyant avec un calme absolu et des vues splendides ça fait du bien de passer du temps!

Please do not send your children to this camp. Worst place I've been in my life the food was horrible, we were starving the whole stay. Rooms were tiny and at 32º without AC in summer with all the humidity it was unbearable. I don't know if it's a thing of the French who are all unpleasant but some of the teachers were truly unspeakably rude and immature. The place was in really bad condition.When I visited I was 16 to 17 I felt treated as 12 year old, I understand they must be some restrictions but the limit of going out between 13:30 to 18:30 felt absurd, knowing other camps in the area were allowed to arrive later, if you wanted to go for example to Nice only the trip took 1:30 hours due to the barely any service of buses around that area.Due to my privacy, I do not show my full name but I assure you that I have gone to this place.

Un grand merci au CMEF pour les merveilleux séjours d'été que nos 3 enfants ont passés successivement. Un cadre enchanteur, des activités au top et un encadrement très sérieux de la part des animateurs et de la direction.Rendez-vous avec impatience l'année prochaine!

Magnifique ! trés bien géré, un super centre de vacance ou les pleures ne manqueront pas au retour. De grandes amitiées internationnales se forment et persistent durant les années. Les cours, les activités tout est vraiment bien encadré. Un endroit de reve avec vue à couper le souffle sur la mer.

As organizers of camps abroad, the CMEF Summer Camp is highly recommended. The group from Mexico that participated in the summer of 2023 had a wonderful time. Excellent staff, attention, supervision, French classes and incredible activities. Thank you CMEF!!

Le parc est magnifique, les repas sont de qualité, les activités et les animations le soir sont très sympas. Bonne expérience pour ado français qui côtoient des jeunes du monde entier

J’ai eu l’occasion de revenir sur les lieux après quelques années, notamment lors de la journée européenne du patrimoine. Monsieur Cappadoro nous a fait visiter les lieux et nous a fait découvrir l’histoire artistique qui se cache derrière le joli amphithéâtre du centre.Cela m’a fait plaisir de voir que le centre n’a pas changé et a gardé son charme. Un lieu unique, vivant.. entouré de la nature.J’ai des très bons souvenirs de ce lieu où j’ai eu l’occasion d’effectuer des séjours linguistiques pendant les vacances scolaires d’été. C’est un lieu de partage et de rencontre de différentes cultures ainsi qu’une école avec des professeurs compétents, ce qui permet aux élèves de progresser et améliorer leur expression en français. Outre les cours, les activités culturelles et sportives encadrées par les animateurs leur permettent d’apprendre des nouvelles choses tout en s’amusant et en faisant des nouvelles connaissances.Niveau sécurité, ce qui est aujourd’hui un point très important, c’est également un endroit qui tient ses promesses.

Un lieu exceptionnel. Invitée pour un concert donné par des élèves musiciens du monde entier. L ame de Cocteau plane en ce lieu. L acoustique du théâtre de plein air est incroyable. Il y a aussi de vieux sujets de plantes grasses.

Seit über 10 Jahren fährt unsere Schule in das Centre méditeranéen d'études françaises nach Cap d'Ail. Das Centre mit dem toll angelegten Garten, das Amphitheater, die Kunstwerke von Jean Cocteau und der Blick sind ein Traum. Das Team aus Schulleitung, Sekretariat, Lehrer, die Animateure, das Küchenteam mit Koch, Putzfrauen,... sind alle unglaublich hilfsbereit und sind mit Herzblut dabei.Gerade die Mischung aus Unterricht am Vormittag bei Muttersprachlern, nachmittags Ausflüge im Klassenverband und abends tolles Programm mit den Animateuren von der Sprachschule, auch mit anderen Klassen aus verschiedenen Nationen stellt für die Schüler und auch für uns Lehrkräfte eine große Bereicherung da.Die Côte d'Azur ist so traumhaft schön und eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Gegend. Èze, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Nizza, Menton und natürlich Monaco stehen bei uns auf dem Programm und die Schüler sind immer sehr begeistert.Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unsere séjour linguistique" nächstes Jahr!Depuis plus de 11 ans

Going to speak on this as objectively as possible, but I think my experience is worth sharing. I came expecting more of a immersive / independent French learning experience, in which we would be able to explore Côte D’azur with freedom after our morning classes, though it soon became clear that this was way more of a summer camp than it was any of that. Which obviously might be great news for someone looking for a summer camp type experience, though I would not be one of those people. (For the record AFS, the program I came through had described the immersion pretty differently from what it actually was, and I was a bit misinformed.)I am 17 years old, almost 18, and I felt as if I was being treated like a middle schooler. Even a couple counselors checked in with me and I told them about this, and they felt like they were being treated below their age as well. The French classes put more of an emphasis on performing a song / dance by the end of the week rather than just basic education on the language. Granted, those classes were good, but so few and far between. The camp would allow for some independence, by letting us go out to explore from 1:30-6:30 with the permission of our parents, but without the experiences of the nighttime, and even without the ability to go to a boulangerie in the morning, I felt as if my experience was very limited. Americans under the AFS program, until further convincing, weren’t even allowed outside of campus on their own until the second week, while everyone else was. The 6:30 return time limit proved to be worse when Bastille Day came, and rather than the ability to go to the city and see fireworks or just the culture on such an important day for France, we were treated to a recreation of the historic event, which detailed campers throwing water balloons at counselors. It was a real let down. This kind of thing would basically occur every night.There were definitely good times to be had, but it was mostly external. I really bonded with kids of every European nationality, and experiencing the coast with the little time we had was truly beautiful. The area is stunning, and every city as a great, unique vibe. Also the mediterranean sea has the most comfortable ocean water I’ve ever been in. And although the classes weren’t great, I definitely speak and understand French much better after this (how could you not), and I think the counselors made some good efforts to enforce some kind of immersion in that regard. However, once they remember your nationality they’ll basically only speak to you in your mother tongue. But unfortunately almost all of my time spent on campus was more than lackluster, and about 80% of my time on this trip was restricted to campus. The provided food was atrocious, the dorms are way too small for 3-5 people at a time, and the dorms get way too hot! Obviously I don’t expect AC or anything but even a fan would’ve been nice. The general hospitality was lacking, but again, it is a summer camp so I understand that expecting something above that may be reaching.Closing things out I don’t think this place is bad, but it really depends on what you’re seeking out. If you want a summer camp experience with a small emphasis on French language education, this is for you. I grew disappointed with my experience and left halfway through what was supposed to be my four-week stay. If you’re looking for a mature and independent French immersion experience, seek elsewhere.

Les animateurs étaient très motivés pour toutes les activités de la semaine. Les cours étaient amusants et pas trop longs. Je me suis lié d'amitié avec beaucoup d'étudiants. Je le conseille à tous les jeunes gens qui vont mieux apprendere le français.
