Just returned home from our 10th trip to Le Chant, my wife says it’s just like home in the Loire for us, we absolutely love this site and the owners Stu and Syb. They work so hard to make your holiday special. Everything you need in a campsite is here and much more, meals are available most nights including Pizza oven. Check out their website and book your next holiday you won’t be disappointed. See you next year then guys.

Le Chant d'Oiseau
We have just returned home from an amazing three weeks at this beautiful campsite. This was our third visit and if you try it once you will want to go back. Stu and Syb are amazing hosts and despite Syb currently being compromised by having a broken leg, between them they laid on magnificent meals and a great atmosphere. The campsite is located in a quiet and rural part of the beautiful Loire valley and yet is only minutes away from the nearest supermarket and many chateau’s, vineyards and local markets in close proximity. Stu and Syb also offer the opportunity to visit the neighbouring goat farm where you can watch the goats being milked and purchase their delicious produce. When it gets too warm you can chill off in the heated swimming pool. Can’t wait to go back next year, thank you so much Stu & Syb xx

By far our favourite campsite on our trip and we enjoyed them all but the stay with Stu & Syb was really special. The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant and the children had so much fun together. Really looking forward to next years visit. Many thanks we really appreciate all your hard work, Rufus Yvonne & Oscar :)

We've been here on previous occasions - always enjoy being here! Very relaxed atmosphere, clean and spacious. We booked a gite this time, having camped in tents previously. Really nice place, very quiet, just what you need if you want to get away from it all! Stu and Syb are fab hosts, their pizza nights are fantastic! Would strongly recommend a stay here.

Als je rust, en gezelligheid zoekt, moet je bij Syb en Stu op de camping zijn. Dicht in de buurt van veel bezienswaardigheden en toch niet in de drukte. Er hangt een bijzondere sfeer op de camping, 10 plekken, die je het beste als ongedwongen kunt beschrijven. Wij hebben er een week met heel veel plezier gestaan. Lekker pizza gegeten, broodservice, zwembad, en zowel schaduwplekken als ook zonnige plekken. Stu en Syb zijn heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De camping is een aanrader.

What a lovely campsite ! We only stayed one night on our way down south . We loved the barn and the bar snd were welcomed by Stu and hope to return for a longer stay next time to make full use of the facilities . Highly recommended !

Le Chant d'Oiseau
Stayed on one of the camping pitches in our caravan. A beautiful and perfectly formed campsite with 10 pitches, and 3 self catering gites for 2 to 5 people. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There's a fab pool on site, a bar, and some evenings meals are available too. We were there on a pizza night - best pizzas and cooked in a wood oven. All the other guests agreed. Around €12 a pizza and they were very good sized.Location is beautiful and quiet. At night the stars arecso clear, with a symphony of owls, crickets, and other animals to lull you to sleep. The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike. The area is very flat with lots of cycling routes. Lots to see and do nearby too.We will return.

Peaceful and small campsite in Loire valley countryside with spacious pitches, a pool, a kitchen with free cooker and fridge for the campers as well as bar and a dinning area. Very clean facilities. Welcoming and helpful owners who even cook a meal for their guest on certain days where the whole campsite becomes just one communal dinning experience. Lots to do and sightsee in the area within 30 min drive.

De passage dans la région, nous avons décidé de passer une nuit chez Stu et Syb qui nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement.C'est un endroit paisible et confortable, où l'on se repose vraiment. Encore merci pour votre sens de l'accueil et bonne continuation.

Nous rêvions d’une pause dans un camping familial et nous avons trouvé l’endroit parfait ! Petit camping, très sécurisant pour les enfants. Accueil très chaleureux de Stu et Syb. Petite cuisine à disposition, bar, soirée pizzas… La cerise sur le gâteau, la piscine avec porte sécurisée. L’endroit idéal pour des vacances en famille dans un cadre arboré et joli, avec la touche anglaise qui donne l’impression d’être partis loin en vacances.

Fantastic site. Our ( probably) 12th year visiting! So peaceful. The welcome from Stu and Syb is lovely. The pizzas are second to none as are the meals. The newly revamped sanitaires are excellent and the pool is great. We just love it here.

The English owners (stu and syb) are awesome. The welcomed us with a cup of tea and coffee, and were very relaxed. We did get a tour on the site, and then we sat down with them for a chat and the check in. It was pizza day, so they made us some delicious pizzas that night! We had a lovely evening at their bar with some more guests, and some nice cold beers. The toilets and rainshowers are very nice and wel cleaned. We had a great night there. It was a shame that we had to go, otherwise we definately would have stayed longer. I would highly recommend visiting this campsite. You can see and taste the passion and love the owners have for their camp site.

Un petit bijou... intime et familiale, un lieu parfait pour passer un bon moment en famille, entre amis et pour en faire des nouveaux! Accueil spectaculaire des hôtes... nous y retournerons!
